  1. Really good match that. Feared it would be like 3 or 4-0 after the first 15 minutes.
  2. At least there's Fulham vs Man Utd on TNT at 7pm. This looks like the type of match you'll turn off in about 10 mins.
  3. Hmm, that goal looked like it was coming.
  4. Give it Masey until the end of the season.
  5. Don't think I've ever seen that before. 0-2 down and celebrating like you've won the cup rather than running to get the ball back, especially 85 mins in.
  6. Hamburg and Cologne both did win yesterday, so Magdeburg are now currently 3rd, but pretty incredible that more than halfway through a season, a team were that high up without winning a single home league game.
  7. It's not like for like. Yes, Sheff Utd would have expected to win at home to Hull, but Hull had taken 10 points from their previous 7 games under their new new manager (now 13 from 8), have made signings in January, we're expected to finish midtable at the start of the season and have now won 5 away matches. Plymouth in contrast, haven't won away all season, haven't won at all since Nov 5th, and had taken only 4 points from their last 12 games. One fixture was an absolute banker and a gift, the other was a potential banana skin. With Burnley playing Leeds on Monday and at least one of them guaranteed to drop points, this was an ideal opportunity for Sunderland to make significant ground on 2 or 3 of the teams above them, and they made a pigs ear of it.
  8. Not sure I've seen a worse 5 minute spell
  9. Chelsea win by far the worst, you could argue either way on the other two outcomes.
  10. Despite their obvious issues, I still thought City would have been clear faves to win, like 4/5 or something and Chelsea 3/1, but it's pretty close.
  11. I'm going into the match hoping Man City win, but if Chelsea got a late equaliser I wouldn't be too fussed. Chelsea winning is obviously the worst outcome of the 3, so always risky hoping it's a draw, it looking that way, and then the team you least want to win nick it late on. Quite looking forward to the match. Always much better when you have the 3 points in the bag.
  12. Awful decision. You'd be raging.

  15. Sheff Utd were 1-0 down at half time, but they're now 2-1 up and Swansea are down to 10 men.
  16. Looking forward to this one. Doesn't really affect us too much, although from a pure NUFC perspective, an Everton win would be better. Don't really like Everton, and am quite enjoying Spurs' misfortunes, so a draw would be nice.
  17. Leeds vs Sheff Wed just starting. I'd probably prefer Leeds to stay down another season, but I don't trust both Burnley and Sheff Utd to finish above Sunderland, so hoping Leeds can win so the automatic promotion gap is 4 points for the Mackems.
  18. I'd probably prefer Arsenal won to be honest. Think we'll be a lot closer to Villa at the end of the season, and a draw at the Emirates, especially from 2-0 down, would be very much seen as a point gained.
  19. Merino scores, but will likely be disallowed.
  20. Just shows that Arsenal match is nothing like over. If they get the first goal, and relatively early, then it's a near enough 50/50 tie.
