Commentator on Setanta talking about wanting to see some of these Dortmund players in the Premier League as it tests you in a way no other league does, while Spurs are getting utterly destroyed by Dortmund
Absolutely nothing wrong with that, he's acting like a professional IMO. He will have been told/know by now that he won't be here much longer, best he can do is just to keep going and get his pay off at the end of it.
professional ...mmmm Mercenary springs to mind .....in 95% of jobs if you fail you get sacked end of ...sadly not in the world of football management
Why should he resign when he knows he's getting sacked within days and is being treated like shit by his employer? I agree with the sentiment that a manager who isn't good enough and doesn't look like getting sacked should walk, but that's not the case here.
Aye this would be an utterly ridiculous time to resign
He only seems to be a nice guy because he seems to have absolutely no confidence in himself and doesn't look like a cunt. He talks just as much shit as Pardew, just doesn't have any of the same conviction in anything he says
Playing him as a number 10 would negate the best part of his game, his long passing and put him in a position where he'll be under pressure from the opposition constantly. Doesn't make any sense to me
Basically even if he doesn't have much time to develop his own tactics, he has a name that should appeal enough to our players to motivate them for a 9 game spell
Did poorly at Inter, alright at Napoli, maybe not great, did well at Chelsea, didn't do particularly bad at Real Madrid IMO, great at Liverpool and Valencia
