Probably my favorite player of ours and is good enough for a move if we go down
-
Marcelo has been unreal
-
What a ball by Marcelo in the build up to that
-
Ronaldo's been great all night
-
Great goal
-
What an awful finish
-
Real Madrid -3 Wolfsburg Arsenal 10 returns 145
-
Then what happens if he turns us down, which is very likely?
-
Spain or 19th in the table Newcastle. He'll have to spend ages deliberating over that one
-
I think people overrate his talent and underrate his contribution
-
Yep, and I'm sure 50,000 people would claim to have seen it and it was an accident. Like that guy that was murdered in a pub by the IRA and 71 witnesses claimed to be in a 4ft by 3ft bathroom when it happened

It makes you wonder why they keep starting him then. If this is a guy who doesn't work hard or can't cross, why is always one of the first names on the team sheet? It's either muddled thinking or trying to blame the player for their own lack of authority and direction. Perhaps their frustration is with the lack of alternatives. Fuck knows why he always starts when his contribution in so many games is close to fuck all. Because he still contributes more than anyone else bar Shelvey? Except Gini's 9 goals and 2 assists. I'd change the system/formation to remove him and make him an impact sub. Gini has played even worse than Sissoko for the last about 6 weeks tbf

That's rubbish, for a start. We just tend to hire British yes men. Name one British manager who is currently active in club football that wouldn't be a "yes man" for Mike Ashley? Gary Neville He's currently working for a Mike Ashley type owner
-
Already been mentioned by Ron, but Steven Taylor average ffs
-
If even one of those is true man
-
There's a chance he would come in the summer if given total control over everything, also if we stay up of course. I think the chances of him risking his reputation with 9 games to go and a big chance of getting relegated is practically nil
-
We were midtable when Carver took over though weren't we? Bit different now
-
Not that he'd come anyway but I think the respect the players would have for him might be enough to help us in the short term
-
I appreciate it, I just don't see the lack of work rate most of the time. How many times do full backs do anything up against him? Both Wijnaldum and Aarons both let their full back go yesterday at one stage, one resulting in a goal
-
While you were looking for those stats did you also see the one where he has created 47 chances this season?
-
It's so mad I do love him though. If we were a proper functioning team with threats in a lot of other areas it would be more bearable. Because we rely on him to do so much it's more painful. Shelvey will be a big help. Kaka, you posted this about two months ago after months of calling him shit
-
You change your opinion on him basically every week Kaka

In comparison, in the same shit team... Shelvey has been here since January 16th and has 3 assists to his name. So Sissoko has played for us for 5 months more this season and contributed 2 more assists. Also taking into effect that Shelvey plays much deeper. Shelvey has been better than Sissoko since he joined but that's not taking into account that Sissoko has to cross the ball into people who can't head the ball while if you split the defence with a pass from deep once in a game there is a massive chance its going to be a goal
