  1. Pathetic as it would have been lucky not to be off there.
  2. Also this has to be a mistake. There is no way we are paying Shelvey £850,000 a week. 850*100 ≠ 850,000 Fucking hell I'm an idiot. Trained maths teacher too. No wonder the country is going to shit.

  4. It's nice to know you can earn more than a premier league footballer.

We have the second highest xGA in the league!
  6. I mean it's a pretty pathetic red card but he did kick him off the ball. Don't see why just because it was a sissy kick it isn't a red.
  7. So if VAR decided that the foul was in the box then it's a free kick to Chelsea for offside? But because it wasn't a penalty ignore the offside and spurs get the free kick?
  8. Inject this shit into my veins.
  9. On MNF now. Says he will be seeing out his contract.

Because we are massively on the right side of variance. https://understat.com/league/EPL I know xG and xPTS isn't the be all but it's useful in showing a pattern. You just have to watch our games to see how shit we are and how lucky we are getting. It's not sustainable - see Pardew 5th.
  11. This is awful. No way we should be winning this. Carroll is a fucking embarrassment.
  12. As if bruce is even thinking about this sort of thing.
  13. Give the linesman three flags. A red one for definitely offside, an amber one for he might be offside I'm not sure, and a green one for he's onside. If appropriate two flags can be raised at once eg red and amber means he's definitely offside, I think. Not raising a flag is not allowed. Any time a forward pass is made which could result in an offside call a flag must be raised. Having an amber flag raised at any point will cause a VAR review next time play stops. Having a red or green flag raised at any point and having it be the wrong decision means no VAR review but the linesman is taken from the ground and shot so he can be replaced by a more compliant linesman who knows his place and uses the amber flag. All hail our VAR overlords.
  14. Now imagine what Steve Bruce's article about the same subject would contain.
  15. That's the whole point though. This wasn't the "clubs" fault. It was the FA/EFL allowing this owner.
  16. Sky Bet isn't actually owned by Sky.
  17. Fuckinghell man All this because someone dares to renew their season ticket If you're this angry about it mate and you really want to make a change why not go the ground on match day and tell all these fans how much of a disgrace they are and that they should be ashamed of themselves? Answer the question.

Ok so VAR got that one right. But why did it take a minute? Cameras instantaneously showing it as onside.

Again, it’s not VAR nonsense, it’s reffing nonsense. With no VAR, there’s a goal that shouldn’t have stood. With VAR there’s an opportunity to get the decision right. We just need better refs. Without VAR the linesman probably just flags for offside. With VAR what’s the point? It will get reviewed anyway. But yeah I take the point. Shite ref. Like in the Scotland game.
