Some of Perez's efforts on goal are an embarassment a 10 year old kid could strike the ball harder, the guy is incredibly weak a complete fucking pansy really Would like to see Longstaff in the no10 role for this game. If it doesn't work out put Perez on after an hour. Longstaff and Joselu Jesus Christ man we really are fucking tragic

"We had a gentleman's agreement with Tottenham that we wouldn't compete for the same players. We let Jonathan Woodgate go to Spurs on the basis that we would get Modric, but Mike didn't want to pay. In the end I told Daniel Levy that we had pulled out and that Tottenham should sign him." That just sums up the Ashley years for me. On a par with Spurs on every aspect when he came to been a million miles away now

I asked this question two years ago and the majority (including yourself) said they'd rather Ashley stayed as long as Rafa did. God knows how they thought the last two years would go, other than exactly how they have. Everyone loves a 'told you so'. I can't remember that TBH, but I guess it's because I thought since he had employed Rafa he'd give him a small amount of the money he needed to do the job. And obviously excited by our new world class manager. Sorry, you were right. I don't think it's much of a badge of honour to say I was right about Mike Ashley in 2016. Just found it utterly bewildering that some people seemed to think Benitez would prompt Mike Ashley to have a personality change and start being anything other than a complete arsehole. To be fair, I was totally done with the club from 2014 but when Benitez came I went home and away again and was on the rafalution bandwagon, I really thought we would be back in Europe by 2019/20. Also I think when I moved away down south in 2015 it made me love the club even more and look forward to home games as they were my trips back up home. I don't know why amongst all that I suddenly forgot all about Ashley and what he's like. I was going to games up until the end of last season. It's taken this summers fiasco to make me realise again and go back the other way

Welcome to where I was from early August. I was sick of feeling negative and angry though so have been a lot more chilled out this last week trying to forget about it all. I'm still staying away from games just hoping we can scrape enough points to stay up. Least we certainly have something to play for this season oright! One massive scrap for survival Felt awful not wanting us to win or not been bothered if we won, I have only really been like that late 2014/early 2015 but like you say it's probably for the best as long as we can scrape 17th. What a mess man all I and we want is to be able to go to home games again and support us like a normal club who wants to progress

He said villa are as they have competed at the top of the pl even though there pl record has f*** all on ours when it comes to top 6 finishes. The moron You have seen their honours list, right? Don't need to. Villa aren't half the club nufc are even in our current guise This surely is a wind up isn't it? Eh!? Why? They had to close parts of there ground the other season man. How many premier league top 6 finishes have they had compared to us? How many European games compared to us? Yeah they won stuff decades ago but so did we Imagine a Geordie thinking villa are a bigger club than nufc
