Zaha would have come on with a cone as the manager. He ruined our team. I don't like BFS but the only way he's got any results is by getting half a team of players in the transfer window who weren't ruined by pardew. It's amazing after an initial good run he doesn't just go down hill (palace had the worst record in 2016 in all four divisions), he leaves teams totally broken.

I think he might well keep Swansea up. Then go in to decline as he always does. Might not be a bad appointment if they took him for six months! They would be nailed on to beat us on 3 January.

That's because the sun and Mail are xenophobic scum. But sadly football seems to accept anyone. Teams have wanted or signed players who are rapists, convicted for sexual abuse, convicted for domestic abuse, assault or done for racism. I didn't want him at palace, partly for the reasons you've said, but football has far worse in terms of morals.

Doubt it with BFS parking the bus. More like a 0-0, with Pardew bringing on the old left back with ten minutes to go. He has many strange tactics Pardew but that one has to rate up there.

Pardew bookies favourite We have Swansea at home next week.

Hard to say after one game. I suspect he will produce boring football but shore up the defence. Not exactly buzzing at the prospect!

Would still take Benteke over Gayle, but would love him to still be at palace as think he would be a perfect match up front with Benteke. Instead we have Frasier Campbell Wickham is permenantly crocked and not great anyway and Remy was obviously Chelsea taking the piss.

I saw a bit of that but was mainly people, from what I could see, trying to say he was innocent. Not good at all in my view and too much like Chelsea fans and Terry. But not the same as if people knowing for sure he's a racist and defending it. Sunderland fans on the forum are saying yeah Johnson is a nonce but still saying how great he is.

I went on the Sunderland forums for the first time to look up about BFS. Like when I came on here to look up about Pardew. Fuck me I'm not going back. So depressing. I know I'm from that London so anywhere is a bit strange outside of the M25 but it's massively different from this forum, it's like a bunch of red necks with threads still praising Johnson and laughing about his conviction. I thought a small minority of our fans were tossers on their views on ched Evans (but most weren't), but this took the fucking biscuit. Why are they so different from the Newcastle forums? Is it just a small town thing?

So how good has Gayle been? A lot of palace fans were pissed off we sold him and now him and Murray are top scorers in the championship :/ I think he could do well in the premiership if a team plays to his strengths. Townsend hasn't done well at all. Hopefully that was Pardew holding him back but also doesn't help playing him on the wrong wing. Guess he will get a chance when zaha is at the African nations cup.

How bad is BFS compared to Pardew? Can't believe we couldn't have got someone more inspirational than that Even if you don't like palace surely we have suffered enough and now this. By the way just had a look at the Sunderland forums for the first time. Weird how different they are from the Newcastle one. It's like reading a forum for red necks. The support for Alan Johnson, is sickening. They are still praising him now!!

Yeah Pulis was a breath of fresh air compared to Pardew! To be honest I could forgive Pardew being shit, it is his total arrogance, bullying and General tosser behaviour. We got off lightly compared to what Newcastle went through. Yeah BFS is not gonna be enjoyable and although staying up is an achievement of kinds, you go to a match to enjoy it.

Just to let people know I'm a palace fan. Been reading this forum for a while. No bad feeling towards Newcastle, fucking hate Man U and hated Ferguson. Moriniho seems like he might be a great fit for Man U as a tosser. I think Pardew got a lot of good will because of his time as a player. I remember very fondly as a kid when we beat Liverpool 4-3 in the fa cup semi final and pardew scored. Because of that a lot of palace fans wanted Newcastle fans to be wrong. When he came I had already read a lot on this forum and knew he had to be a tosser. Also at every club he seems to turn everyone against him. Even at palace. Am glad to see him go. Am ok about BFS being appointed but would rather have had Mancini. A bit of glamour would have been good. Would never hate a football manager as much as some hate pardew on here as don't think football is important enough. I hold back that kind of hatred for Thatcher, Farage or Trump. But can well understand the bad feeling. Anyway hoping I don't get banned as been interesting to read the forums. While I can see why Newcastle fans got pissed of with how some palace fans were, I think you have to see it from him being in our best ever team. Under a great manager, and good bloke, Steve Coppell. We have a very good team. I think Pardew would have relegated us, would be surprised if we are now. But don't think we will be seeing "front foot football"
