  1. I'm tired of joining the dots. I'm tired of the hints, winks and nudges for nothing to happen. Im fucking bored of the cryptic messages.

They should all keep their mouths shut unless something really is happening. They know fine well people are hanging on their every word and its both irresponsible and unprofessional to infer things that potentially aren't true.

When you know, you know you know.

Actually, when you know you know you don't know.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.

"To know what you you know and to know what you don't know, is the characteristics of one who knows." (Teardrop Dragon,D-code, 1993.)

There's probably an earlier example of this quote but I'll stick with this.(Tune,in My humble opinion.) :)

  2. Wish I shared your optimism (and recent joie de vivre) but i think I'd be worried this season if I was bothered at all like.

If the auto response to getting spanked is to defend (Ha!) deeper we're in a downward spiral that this fucking nugget has no idea to reverse.

    Meh.

  3. Club will be doomed if this doesn’t go thru.

More fans won’t go and there would be less and less money spent due to Covid19. Yet 4 weeks ago we were all talking about knocking St James down and building a new 80,000 stadium, yet there more prospect of us not being able to fill the ground when this is knocked back.

The prospect of that and Lee Charnley’s bald head still in the director’s box is unbearable.

Nice bit of negative pressure, very cunning Amanda. :snod:

  4. Got to be some sick petty individuals who want to ruin the hopes and dreams of hundreds of thousands of people and leave us with Ashley after 13 years of him. All over something as inconsequential as this

 who? The Qataris? They don’t give a flying f*** about either the fans or Mike Ashley. It doesn’t even factor into their calculations.

So what's their issue then to be sending shit like this in something that's none of their business

the fact that someone in saudi arabia has been blatantly stealing their stuff and re transmitting it? And while no one here can say for certain the government was involved at some level they seemed to at least ignore its existence officially despite many protests against it including from the premier league itself. Throw in the fact SA has been leading a coalition of nations in the region currently (I think) having an economic war with Qatar and yeah I can see why they'd be irritated by this

I don't have Sky or BT sports but still watch football, I don't think the our government is involved at any level so i don't see how it could be proven the Saudi's are.

  5. I wonder if Project Restart is a one-shot deal. Get it started and hope for the best to finish the season, but the minute one player gets the virus do they just cancel it altogether?

    Goes to sudden death.

We should be fine with the new owners then.

  6. Or do something like Boca

    Aye, something like this/Celtic park.

Pull L7 all the way round, flatten the east stand, then rebuild it into the best  corporate/hospitality stand in the league.

That would make it 65/70000ish capacity, I don't think it needs to be anymore really.

A full ground on song looks and is better than having the biggest ground (one more seat than Newcastle springs to mind).

Gate money is pretty irrelevant now, as long as it looks good on the tele everyone's happy.

  7. Into the sea you go.

    Harsh on the sea, imo.

Aye, I mean, where would it go?

    Sunderland's catchment area?

Already full of dead season card holders marra.
