    Graeme Bailey so bullshit
  3. A lot of people on here should stick their hats in the ring for the director of football role at Newcastle. They make it sound so easy to get rid of our deadwood they must have some top quality contacts in football.
  4. Thought you have to have your tattoo covered for a few days after? Never had a tattoo like so no idea
  5. Sean Casey’s mate that. He guessed one little thing right with the takeover and now thinks he is ITK. Sure he blocked me for saying that
  6. Great insight have you put yourself forward for DOF role?
  7. I am really starting to get annoyed with some of our fans questioning the clubs ambition because we apparently wanted to sell Minteh. They are either thick or taking the piss. Why can’t they get their head around a few things. Firstly if there was no FFP our owners would be spending money like a drunken sailor. FFP and the recent laws were brought in to stop clubs breaking into the so called elite. We have spent a whole lot of money without actually selling a player for profit for a while now and clubs know we are sailing close to the wind with FFP and PSR. These clubs know we have to sell they aren’t going to come riding in on a white horse and buy the likes of Almiron, Wilson, Longstaff and Trippier for the money we want they will bid low as they think we are desperate. we need to build again this season and our only saleable assets are Bruno, Isak and a kid who could become the next big thing or may not but we could sell to stop us getting rid of our 2 biggest players 🤷🏼‍♂️ I mean come on it’s not the club wanting to do this it’s the fact they need to due to rules brought in by jealous clubs who either want to stay near the top or clubs who don’t want their comfortable little mid table existence taken away from them by their big bully friends.
  8. What makes everyone think we will get Olisse. Chelsea are after him and so are Man Utd. I believe he is a Man Utd fan. We won’t be able to offer bigger wages than Chelsea either.
  9. Not sure some people on here have quite grasped the whole FFP thing yet. Would I want to sell Minteh? Absolutely not in an ideal world where you can spend what you want but we are not in that world. would people rather sell Bruno? Minteh unfortunately is a saleable asset. The likes of Wilson, Miggy, Longstaff, Targett etc clubs know we want rid of them but those clubs will try and get a cheap deal and these sales will take ages. FFP is shit but it isn’t the clubs fault it’s the corrupt Premier league and the clubs like Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal,Liverpool who dont want challengers to their top 6 or 4 ambitions. And then you have the clubs happy to sell players and get a cheap frill with never being close to PSR like Brighton and Palace who are the so called big clubs lap dogs. The Premier league is fucked as you have too many teams looking after their own ambitions or lack of.
  10. It isn’t PIF though and they are just becoming a major sponsor not purchasing the Falcons.
  11. Centre half will get the line moving up for offsides by shouting ‘Are you gonna go my way’

  13. I thought the money from the Australia games now covered that?
  14. If he was a girl he would be ‘livin’ in a lonely world getting a midnight train goin anywhere
  15. Sure I read recently that for this Australia trip we are getting 2.5 million, which is what we are short on PSR for this calendar year. If that’s right but if a coincidence they have offered 2.5 million no more. It’s and someone has been giving them information about our financial situation ?
  16. Also if they are taking the piss out of our owners they should tell the Saudi cubs don’t buy their shite to help them with PSR
  17. Sounds like Man Utd have been taken over by Scrooge McDuck ?
  18. An email that Dan Ashworth sent to himself about being approached by Manchester United could be crucial in the forthcoming arbitration against his former club Newcastle United. Ashworth, who is still being paid his salary of more than £1 million a year by Newcastle despite being on gardening leave for three months, emailed the incoming Manchester United chief executive, Omar Berrada, making it clear that he wanted to accept an offer to become the club’s sporting director after the pair had held a conversation in early February. In doing so, he sent a blind copy to his own Newcastle email address. Club staff were therefore aware of that message when Ashworth, their sporting director at the time, revealed to them that he wanted to talk to officials at Old Trafford about taking up a post there. The email sent to Berrada by Ashworth also went to the sporting director’s Newcastle address PA The Premier League’s rules state that each club and director should behave towards each other with the “utmost good faith” and it could be a breach if they were to “act dishonestly towards another club or engage in conduct that is intended to circumvent these rules”. It is felt this information could now be crucial in swinging the pendulum in favour of Newcastle before the arbitration that Ashworth and Manchester United hoped would help to facilitate his move to the club. It had been due to start at the end of this month. The Times can reveal that Manchester United have so far offered about £2.5million to end the 53-year-old’s gardening leave and allow him to begin his new job this summer but the clubs remain some distance apart. That is less than Newcastle paid Brighton & Hove Albion when they took him to St James’ Park in June 2022. It is thought that Ashworth disclosed details to Berrada, who is also on gardening leave and will begin his position at Old Trafford after a move from Manchester City on July 13, of the agreement that took him to Newcastle. That could be a breach of confidentiality. Ashworth’s gardening leave in his contract with Newcastle is due to run until October next year. Newcastle are still open to negotiation to end the impasse but want a figure of about £10 million. Newcastle’s desire is for the figure to reflect Ashworth’s worth, what the club paid Brighton and also what he has received in salary and bonuses since taking up his position at St James’ Park. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Manchester United’s new minority shareholder, was critical of Newcastle’s stance in February. He said then: “I think it’s a bit silly, personally. What I do think is completely absurd is suggesting a man who is really good at his job sits in his garden for 1½ years.” Manchester United declined to comment on the story.
  19. Absolutely not, all hardcore Newcastle fans now wash your mouth out with soap and water ?
  20. Fair enough then sorry. I know his Dad and him well probably being too over protective ?
