  1. Haven't had a look for ages but of particular delight this morning is them turning their noses up at the mere suggestion of getting Adam Armstrong on loan AND thinking Ross Stewart wouldn't want to leave them for Rangers. Not Queens Park btw, actual Rangers.

    Barmy

  2. They've seen our "Plane spotting" thread and have started their own for the duration of the transfer window.

"Metro watch" is up and running

    Hopefully Lalo Salamenca

  4. Old hat and you'll all have seen it but, if only one hasn't, watch "Marvelous"

    Still on YouTube iirc

Literally marvellous film. True as well.

    Smashing cameo from Lou Macari

You can almost hear the cogs whirring in Ashley's brain........"ha, I'll have to get him as manager sometime, that'll wind the cunts up"......while he stroked his cat

If we're humouring it... It would be a massive statement of intent, and boost to commercial income. Having Bruno and Paqueta here might help with him settling and buying in.

Bruce pretty much enabled this bullshit by only training twice a week, like. What an utter fucking useless cunt he was. IS

By my quick math's Bruce had £125m worth of players come in during his time (albeit over 2 and a half seasons) which he thinks is lower than £95m!

Brucematics. Can imagine him and his lass sitting over a sharing platter at Hungry Hippo.

Tray full of chicken wing bones, the odd olive and Mrs Bruce's right hand pinned to the table by her fork. Mr Bruce's chins dripping with barbeque sauce

In a way you’ve got to admire the money he’s made from being so unsuccessful. The football equivalent of Eddie the eagle Edwards.

Eddie knew his limitations and worked his nuts off to reach his goal.

    Totally forgot about this fella...

Quoting my own post like but has Smalling had a decent enough season to be in the England squad? I don't watch Italian football or much of Arsenal but Ben White was both unlucky and shite against us. Smalling no?

    There's more

“I was under no illusions whatsoever when I arrived at Newcastle,” he told FourFourTwo. “I was becoming part of an unpopular regime and knew I’d be associated with Mike Ashley from day one. And I was replacing Rafael Benitez, who was loved by the fans.

Criticism is one thing, but on occasions it got very personal and showed a basic lack of respect."

Got that nearly right, you fat cunt. Try absolutely NO fucking respect.

First line: “Bruce said: "Eddie’s had a lot more money to spend than I ever did….”

Just fuck off: “I just hope that, a few years down the line, some of those supporters who never wanted me will look back at my time in charge and say ‘under the circumstances, Brucey didn’t do too bad a job after all’.”

Was about to click on the article link but thought I'd read some comments 1st

Bloke is an absolute horror show

On paper, Klopp has the best squad in the world individually. Third highest paid squad in the world after PSG and Man City, but somehow, Klopp managed to convince the public that he is still managing an average team. Recruiting top players is hard, I must admit, but keeping them is harder, particularly because you need to pay them well. The tale that LFC does not have resources or spend much is hilarious.

Zero win vs top 4 this season, that is also something to keep note of.

As I said, Howe all day for me but I do recognise how good Klopp is.

Liverpool v City, spends, for eg...

Liverpool will have played an extra 4 matches over Man City after the Champions League final.

    League Cup quarter, semi, final
    FA Cup Final
    Champions League final

    minus the Community Shield

I don't think that's enough to win Premier League Manager of the Season above the manager who actually won it.

I wouldn't, personally, argue for either, just offered a suggestion as to why one was chosen over Howe.

Howe all day for me tho but.
