That’s the whole reason I offered him the bet in the first place - to shut him up. Seems to have triggered an entirely different response If almiron signs it can't be looking good for you!? -
Tragic . Zero appetite for protests. This is about as bad as things can get and protests have been mentioned for weeks and f all has happened

Ever the insane optimist. Not really. I just think they wouldn't bother with this at all if they are sick of Rafa and don't intend to try and support him going forward. It would just be a weird signing to make. There'd still be conditions on the players they prefer to sign going forward, as I stated above, but I think going forward Rafa would be more confident of getting signings done if he signs on for longer. I do think there has been some truth to the lack of signings due to Rafa's contract situation. Jesus! Have you been living under a rock?! They have done it to trick Rafa to stay nothing more nothing less. There is no optimism with Ashley here. I will offer that £50 bet up to one more person as well if anyone wants it? Dude, most of us are on the same page as you but for f*** sake just please give it a rest for a bit, all you're doing is making the same point over and over again. That's not a don't post thing either, but just as you were in your previous guise as Tubestation, you're just driving home the same repetitive point relentlessly. Point taken. Just how am I supposed to scroll past bullshit like that and not respond man? I will try harder to ignore happy clapping bullshit like that in future but yeah he's mental to think ashely is going to change -

just may as well make £100 from been right and everyone been wrong! I just have to inform misguided people that's all. I've had to read every man and his dog saying "Rafa won't stand for this, Rafa won't have that" "Rafa is off in may". He will do as he is told and is going neewhere! So any last final taker for the other £50? I will enjoy few beers on my summer holiday in June courtesy of Raconteur[/member] -

You are batshit mental if you think they are going to start spending and running the club properly. Howay man it's been 11 years -
It's mental how close we have run the top teams only just to fall short and lose by a goal Also losing out to a 30 yarder, last min goals, dodgy decisions. Just usually seem to compete with the top teams but just get edged out all the time Man City 2-1 Chelsea 2-1 Chelsea 1-2 Man City ht 0-1 Tottenham 1-2 Manure 3-2 Manure 0-1

No, this will not be the start of proper investment it's a token gesture to trick him to stay. They will still be back to the the old bargain bucket ways from the summer for the foreseeable future And yes it will make him sign a new contract 100%. Want a bet on it as well? -

why you so desperate for it to be true? He’s highly rated, he’s young, he’s an attackimg midfielder, and he’s a record signing. And? The club policy is still exactly the same. Ashely will have another few ways to shaft the fans lined up round the corner. That will be all the summer budget gone then no doubt. Just remember what Keegan said. We could buy a team of 20m players now and it changes nothing whilst Ashley is here. The manager, team and league is irrelevant. -

I actually don't think people will be as gullible this time, i know some will but i think most know now just how cynical the people who run this club are. I do. It’s the little things like this that gives people the reason/excuse to just keep on going. You would hope not, well i'm hoping people see through it. From the comments I have seen on social media they won't. Even on here people are desperate for it and pleading for it to be true like it actually makes a difference or changes anything in a positive way. Yep well done mike you win again
