Only done that with the winter catalogue as it had all the Christmas stuff in.
When I got slightly older I'd tell my mam I was taking the catalogue (Brian Mills) upstairs to err........look at the stereos
Brian Mills is what we had too Apart from the obvious I remember they misprinted the games that came with the Nintendo Entertainment Systems - "Dick Hunt".

Am I missing something or are BBC using Mackematics here? (75 + 60) / (38 + 38) = 1.78 not 1.92.
From https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/live/cq55yzvjd7xt at 15:56 How does Ten Hag stack up?

Chelsea selling plots of land off on the moon and no one bats an eye lid.
We could buy some Star Registry and then sell stars to PIF as energy futures.

Exactly, it’s a stay of execution. They have no confidence in him and expect him to start the season poorly, at which point Gareth will insert himself into Man U’s hot seat.Removes the talk around Southgate while the National team don't need that distraction, and then their fans will get behind him if we do well.

On Arsenal Mania🤷♂️
I wonder which side they are poking fun at, or if it's both? He'd consider it at a minimum. "Stan" ripped a team out of one city to move it to another 2000 miles away for almost 30 years, before not getting taxpayer funding he demanded and moved it back.

It would be realistic anyways, as we all know we are at our FFP limit of not over if, I’m not sure where the extra money to pay for him comes from.

I know a lad that played under him at Morecambe, he said he was without doubt the dumbest, thick heeded manager he'd ever worked under, he said he was like a thick Dave Bassett.
Makes me want to lookup if that Sheff Utd documentary is streaming anywhere, and if I'd view it differently with adult eyes.

No stupid release clauses please.
I want one of those really stupid Barcelona style release clauses. $1bn they are up to now aren't they?

Early Internet years, who else was on Albert Koelmans' nufc mailing list hosted by a server in the depths of Newcastle Uni ?
'94? I remember there were too many posts to keep up with and so many were just the Fast Show line Cheesy Peas! Could have been a different NUFC list. No threaded inbox back then!

The way they've been lauded this season compared to us last should suggest that the '6' should be more scared of them than they were/are of us
I think there has been a lot of glossing over their second half of the season (which was relatively piss poor), as the first half was so good. In the end they got 3pts less than we did and no cup final.

Teams lower down are suffering already though? Forest, Everton and Leicester for example are sides that have tried to be competitive and been fucked by the rules. Even Villa may have to cash in on players after just securing champions league, it's ridiculous.
I think a fair few clubs coming up now simply don't bother trying to stay in the division with how things are.
Meanwhile Chelsea have spent over £1b and are selling themselves hotels so they can hoover up talent from all over.
Don't Villa still have a potential charge from the EFL hanging over them?

That was semi-automated
Took five minutes and they still didn't even show what it deduced, just announced the result. Did they show it on other coverage (Paramount Plus here)?

Do they not have the semi-automated? It's taking forever to check this.

They're being a bit confusing with the headline. Further down they cover what would've happened in prior seasons without VAR, and apparently Wolves would've had Champions' League in 19/20.
Thanks. I wasn't going to read the whole thing as the site was nearly as bad as Ronnie's.

Always found it weird why playoff winners get a trophy
Someone posted the other day that second also gets a trophy now too, because of this. Way smaller though. The one today looked as big as the Champions League.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of Lewin, even with a year left on his contract they would still probably ask more than he's worth.
Do they have bungalows in Darras Hall? I wouldn't trust him on stairs each day.
