  1. FA Cup Qtr Final 27th & 28th June. Final on 1st August.
  2. Why's Craig Noone after a better manager than you?
  3. Why didn’t you mention it? Was watching a BBC3 documentary on Alien hunters. so 3-5 days for the transfer of funds no official announcement until end of next week. I wasn't being serious

  5. I got told this morning the PL would announce the 17th June as its restart date followed by them officially signing off the takeover Monday 1st at 10.45am.
  6. "Arr here we go, this one Bin Salman does THEE best Ali G impression - do it..!"
  7. "This is Amanda, daughters of my best friends Ron and Elaine." "Unfortunately the takeover has been blocked by the Premier League as the Saudis have been handling swollen goods" "Ive got something the Premier League could take down as evidence." "Get out."
  8. More interested if they'll allow/show this next year. Replaced with "We dont demand a team that tries, we demand a team that wins"
  9. Imagine the buyers said there's been no red flags yet. Then next week the PL calls up Staveley and tells them the checks are done and they've got a shit load of red flags they need to work through and dumps them on her all at once.
  10. So my take on the Guardian story last night: Why then, why release that on a Tuesday teatime? Maybe the Guardian didn't find out what the evidence was until yesterday? Can't imagine the press receiving this info and sitting on it for days or weeks. Gives other newspapers the opportunity to find out the same info and break the story before them. The same reporter was the one who stated about the new evidence over 2 weeks ago But didn't find out what the evidence was until yesterday? I personally doubt that. I reckon if they knew what the evidence was two weeks ago theyd have published it in their article a fortnight back. Keeping ahold of this scoop for so long runs the risk of another paper finding out the same info and breaking the story before them. Imo Imho Imvho I would read the article again as they stated that the evidence showed there was proof linking the Saudi state to the piracy. The only update is that it is within the WTO report which wasn't mentioned before. I never read either article in the first place so happy to be wrong. If I am wrong.

  14. Drags on and on and on. We have setbacks and more setbacks. Then the lockdown is ended, the takeover is announced, the sun is shining, beer gardens are open, football is on everyday all day and Bruce gets the sack!
  15. Quite some backtracking in comparison to what he was spouting last week. On another note, where does it say the Saudis have to be proven guilty jna the court of law?
  16. I don’t see why there would be since the league has had it for a couple of weeks. That’s the key thing, either the journalists who wrote it got further info saying it could block the takeover yesterday, or he say on it for 2 weeks to create a story out of nothing. Thats my impression as well. No journalist seems to be even picking up on the fact they league have had it for 2 weeks either. I assumed that we because up until last night no journo knew what evidence had been handed to the PL a fortnight ago. That said Caulkin was giving out the impression last week that things were close.

  18. It's too quiet. For such a big revelation last night there doesn't seem to be much fallout today from the press. Mirror & The Sun piggy backed the Guardians article last night but there hasn't been any frantic denial or any apparent worry from the likes of Douglas, Burt, Waugh, Caulkin etc. Unless Caulkin has just given up & fucked off like
