Again, Ben Jacobs is full of shit. Stop reading his tweets. He was all over the BZG takeover in 2019 and said a verbal agreement of £350m was in place and also proof of funds, deal could be completed very soon. He also said the BZG wanted Benitez to stay as manager but that they also had their eyes on Wenger and Mourinho...

How anyone can look at his track record - not just in our takeover(s) - and think he’s anything other than a total gobshite I do not know. Dodgy as fuck.

You can be friends/associates with someone, it doesn’t mean you have the same views as that person

Give your head a wobble you silly bugger.

The problem with Stone Cold Steve Daftcunt isn’t that he has the same views of Tommy Robinson. He probably doesn’t. It’s that he’s such a shameless self publicist he think it’s fine to platform the dickhead.

We really don't need two threads on the takeover imo, positive and negative discussion can happen in the same thread.

    It's a bit childish.

It’s mental is what it is.

I’m generally quite positive about the takeover happening eventually, but I think Keith is a massive self publicising bullshitter. In which thread do I belong? Or do I have to split my time equally between the two threads?

If you can’t handle reading opinions that might not exactly align with your own the internet might not be for you.

I don't think anyone is looking too much in to it. It's quite obviously tongue-in-cheek.

Not necessarily on here, but there are definitely chunks of NUFC Twitter that are going to be very disappointed when it turns out NDM is actually just really into sourdough.

I suspect that Man City and Chelsea aside, they are all in serious financial trouble.  It's a gambit for survival.

Definitely. Perez gave the game away yesterday. They’re scrambling around and if the governing bodies hold their nerves and sanction them as threatened they’ll lose their nerve.

if anybody is shaky on this its Chelsea/Man City they don't need the money and I'm baffled as to why they signed up in the first place they're in it for PR purposes

A fear of being left behind?

It just takes one or two of the clubs to pull out and the entire thing will fall over IMO.

I swear to God, if they capitulate to these rat bastards...

I’m not sure how they can. The governing bodies are in damned if they do, damned if they don’t territory but giving any sort of meaningful ground on the SL is signing their own death warrants.

    Worth a new contract?

Not if we’re going to keep trying to turn him to a wing back.

I think he’s good going forward - decent turn of pace and probably one of the better crossers of the ball at the club. I’d keep him around providing the dickhead in the dugout doesn’t expect him to spend most of the match defending.

That totally misrepresents the situation - I've no intention of pledging if i then have to be a Trust member to have a say about my pledge.

What type of say do you expect exactly? You’re pledging money that will go towards the purchase of a stake in the club.

You don’t donate to Barnardo’s and get to pick and choose which kids they help

However you're allowed an opinion on whether you think fan group ownership, or a fans group having a seat on the board is a good idea or not. It's not just a test of who is optimistic and who is miserable.

Of course, but that doesn’t seem to be what people are griping about.
