    2 nowt down

How the fuck do the bookies know ffs

It's times like this that you question the bookies/match-fixing. 2 shots on target, 2 goals. The GK has kept four consecutive clean sheets at home and away, and then goes and concedes two goals from two shots.

I’m not on it but Odegaard has to be booked there. Certainly would have been were it not for the advantage, which shouldn’t change the decision.

It's been the case for a couple of years now, but the more heated the rivalry pre-game, the more the refs let decisions go in the Premier League. Usually the 'top' referees take the games and let the game flow in the first half. Romero could/should have been booked in that first half as well.

Looked at that game and the league positions and was wondering why Northampton weren't actually favourites ?

They got a load of injuries or summit? Or Stockport in a false position?

Quite the opposite, it's Stockport with a load of injuries. Stockport were favourites to win the league pre-season but have started very poor (reading each teams respective messageboards). Stockport fans themselves can't understand the odds and fully expect another tonking. Given the odds, I might have a few points just straight up on the Northampton win. Ofcourse, we all know how this ends...

Edit: Stockport messageboard thread on the game for anyone interested here

Northampton have scored 2+ in 4/5 at home (and won 4), Stockport have conceded 2+ in 4/4 away (and lost all 4).

Northampton to win/2 match goals looks hefty at 3/1 with 365.

You can also get Northampton to score in both halves (this has also happened in 4 out of 5 of their home games this season) at 4/1 365.

Considering the larger odds with the larger match outcomes available (Stockport can win or draw and we still win as long as Northampton score in each half) I probably prefer this bet but both decent options and thanks for highlighting the stats @Wullie.

    Game is 2pm kick off.

Norwich 6/5 to beat WBA could be printing money

We haven't looked convincing all season despite winning 6 in a row (I have a season ticket at Norwich and going today) but the standard of the league is atrocious. 6/5 looks great value for us today.

I actually had a tackle less for Arsenal than I thought so I think I've won, if the count doesn't change. Have to say I thought it was on 13 and I didn't see a definite tackle towards the end. Really hope it holds as I've had a piss poor weekend, mainly thanks to VAR.

    Sofascore had tackles down as:

    Manchester United: 17

    Arsenal: 14

Agreed. Expect a draw here (1-1) but at that price Burnley are too high given each teams respective form, morale, and start to the season. At 13/5, Burnley are definite value.

    Like clockwork.

Burnley 13/5 away to WBA tonight seems like a canny price (however it would be just like Bruce to get a lucky win against these)

  9. In-play (HT: Southampton 2-1 Chelsea):

James Ward-Prowse @7/1 - huge price on 365, he's 9/4 on skybet for comparison, made 4 fouls already and will play the full game.

Perraud made 2 fouls, the bonus double is @ 75/1.

Moutinho & Schar @ 22/1 365 (add Joelinton into the mix for the Jackpot 85/1)

Moutinho makes a cynical foul towards the end, his 3rd of the game, and Joelintion throws the ball away. Mind, if the Ref didn't think the Wolves 2nd goal was a foul, I suppose he wasn't going to book anyone else.
