  1. Skybet doing free £5 Bet Builder offers galore - no time expiry/game restrictions. I've currently got 5 x £5 free bet coupons stacked, ready for the right bet.

Jesus 2+ sot 6/4 to 3/1 skybet - Not a huge fan of shots on target as opposed to just shots in general, but this looks ok for a player in great pre-season form, likes potshots, and playing at Selhurst (smallest pitch in the league).

Edit: the above bet is limited to max £10 bet.

  2. It's worth noting on the Skybet free £5 offers that they have no expiry and don't have to be placed on the bet stated on the offer. This way you can accumulate the offers to get some healthy free bet totals.

Should point out that for this particular offer it has to be used on a Bet Builder - but again, you can use this on any match once in your account.

  3. Racing Post Produced an 80-page pull-out of the new season ahead (can buy a PDF copy for £4 here)

A few stand-out bets I like the look of from that:

Trent Alexander-Arnold most assists e/w (top 3) @ 9/1 - Has placed in three out of the last four seasons, the season he didn't, Liverpool had that defensive injury crisis.

Bournemouth to be bottom at Christmas @ 4/1

    Leicester top-half/Sheff Utd top 6/ Sheff Wed top 6/Mansfield top 7 - @11/1

Reading to be relegated @ 15/8

    Derby e/w @ 9/1

@bovril and @jack jasked (apologies if it was someone else), this is 12/1 on Paddy Power. Obviously not the 50s of last season, but it's decent value considering its evens elsewhere.

12/1 is still a tasty price, especially considering prices elsewhere for the event as you say.

Edit: Already been hammered down to 5/1

  5. As a neutral (Norwich fan) 2/1 is a terrible price for you to finish 7th. I expect you to have a better season of course but not so much at that price. West Ham @ 4/1 probably the best bet but even then, none of those prices appeal.

Neil (forum member), has found this at evens on Skybet. Christ.

Evens?!?! and you had it at 50/1 last year?

To be fair, Evens sounds like the logical price-up given the history of it happening under Guardiola. That 50/1 price you got must have been a special offer/misprice/drunk PP employee at the time, very unlucky not to see that come in last year.

Currently one off the Man City to win 5+ PL games by 5+ goals or more. So far they've had:

    5-0 v Norwich

    5-0 v Arsenal

    7-0 v Leeds

    5-0 v us

    Frustratingly they've also had:

    4-0 v us

    4-0 v Norwich

    5-1 v Watford

    4-1 v Brighton (3-0 up after 31 minutes)

    6-3 v Leicester (4-0 up after 25 minutes)

At least it provides some interest for their last few games.

Any idea if the bookies are offering the same bet this season @The Prophet?

  8. Bizarre pricing up on the Portugese (365) players as you say.

    - Pepe, 97 yellow cards in his career, @ 15/4

    - Bruno, finished joint 2nd most yellows in the EPL @ 5/1

    - Neves, finished joint 3rd most yellows in the EPL @ 5/1

Now tempted to back the 0-0 with no cards at HT bet  (8/1 if anyone is wondering) as a saver.

Two slightly more unusual bets below:

    ------------

Sam Johnstone to Crystal Palace on a 5-year contract a done deal.

Can still get that move on Skybet at 1/4.

£10 on, gets you a virtual free £2.50 bet.

    ------------

Nigerian Premier League. Six matches this weekend and in the past home teams have had very 'favourable' decisions. Backing a home team to win 1-0 might be a play here. A 'lucky 63' for the six matches (backs singles, doubles, trebles, etc. for all the combinations) is tempting. 10p stake for each part of the bet would result in a total outlay bet of £6.30.

8 out of the 10 matches finished with home wins, with the other two matches finishing as a draw. Look a bit deeper and you'll see

    - two of the home teams came back from a losing position

    - One home team won their match in the 90+6th minute

    - One home team won their match in the 90+10th minute

    - One home team won their match in the 90+16th minute (after the referee had sent off an away player in the 90+6th minute)

    I mean, come on

  11. Bet365 offering £5 free bet on the horses.

I thankfully know nothing about horses so just pick any random name that has odds between 10-20/1. Every now and then I get a free £50-100 injected into the football betting pot.

Gone for ‘Star of India’ for the Epson 4:35pm Saturday race.

  12. Michael Oliver with the usual 1st half card routine. Really tasty this one - expect him to dish out the cards in the 2nd.

Spence will definitely be targeted, a double with him and Gibbs-White is 22/1.

Ollie Hawkins 8/1 again on Wednesday with 365.

Statistically that is incredible value given his record this season. I've gone into that price - bookies should be punished for that price up.

    As for tonight:

Brennan Johnson anytime assist & Norwood card @ 10/1 betfair

    Trippier 2+ SOT 32/1 Coral

Joelinton card and Bruno to score or assist 18/1 PP

Dead unlucky with that second bet, no idea how Joelinton wasn’t booked.

ASM & Odegaard to have a SOT each and Xhaka & Joelinton to be carded enhanced from 40 to 50/1 with Skybet looks a shout.

Like that - where is that on Skybet?
