Personally would love Bowen, think he could cover the RW and then cover up top too. Kelly and Tosin. Then see how many outgoing we can do to maybe get some younger talent in.

Yeah I think he’d be a very good option. Decent player as a back up CB and believe he’s on a free. Would love us to get him as well as: Solid CB. A decent RW that can function as a CF(would love Bowen, but that’s not happening). A starting LB only of there’s anyway of getting out of the Lewis deal. Sure they would be some decent options on a free to bulk the squad up if we could shift the deadwood as well as Miggy, Longstaff, Wilson.

Phillips could be such an easy option for us short and mid term, get him in and see how he gets on. Personally think he’d be so good for us and exactly what we need. Admittedly it would flood our CM options but the Joes could be pushed to LWF and move Gordon over to the RWF

Going back to Maddison, at the end of the season I was glad we got Barnes over him. Thought he didn’t suit our pressing and was a bit lazy. But I was wrong when I’ve seen him for Spurs this year he’s not only been immense but working hard off the ball too. Shame we didn’t get him as he’d be an absolute star in this team.

I’ve been noticing him quite a bit for the last 2/3 months and wondered if he’d be a good signing for us. I think he would be but at the same time think we could aim higher.

I think he’s a player that we should be after, Id be suprised if there wasn’t a deal to be done there

At this point I’d be happy to get pascal gross on a 18 month deal. His contract expires in the summer cant see him costing more than £5m and think he improves anything we currently have. Not a glamorous signing by any means but think he’d improve our midfield. I’d be tempted to pay them £60m for him and Bissouma (if he didn’t have his off fields issues going on in the background).

If the rumours are true and Digne goes to Villa, I’d be tempted with a bid for Matt Targett, providing we wasn’t to be ripped off

Struggling to think of who to suggest as an alternative and realistic signing from the prem as a striker. Surely someone like Belotti who is out of contract in the summer could be an option.

I personally hope we avoid coutinho. Think we can get players on cheaper wages and that are hungrier to play for the club. Would love an English core to the team

I think our areas tha need improving most would be- CB - Ake RB - Trippier CM - JWP Winger - McNeil think there are all realistic players that we could get, arguable JWP would be hard to get Southampton to let go mid season.
