Good points. I have alot of trust in how the recruitment team have done and how Eddie has coached up players previously thought of as shite personified so I'm pretty stoked to see what he can do under proper direction.

I never heard of the bloke. I'm old, I listen to YES and Jethro Tull. Likely I guess. Heard his name mentioned in NFL circles.
-
and while being chased down the street by his own supporters.

It's possible. Agent: Dan, they are playing hardball on this. My client is keen on the move. Ashworth: I remember once when a player stopped training and the club moved quickly after that. I would never advocate that, mind you. Still, it did work a treat.
-
Shithousery is one thing, especially on the field but Dan Ashworth doesn't strike me as the sort.
-
On their forums they mentioned Newcastle are putting him up to this. Can you imagine Ashworth being so unprofessional? There is no way in hell he'd operate like that. I agree with Prophet, Everton want him to look bad and I bet after the car incident he may have been lied to and he said "Fuck it, I'm out".
-
Toffee forum speculates he told his agent “get me the fuck out of here” after that. I have a feeling his agent was given one valuation ;but then when two clubs come in for him they jacked it up.
-
I guess for me I wouldn't be against getting 40M for him but in this window? That seems like a summer window deal, not during a push for Europe. edit: As always if there are incomings that actually happen then maybe.
-
I get that, but now? Unless there are big things being engineered behind the scenes that would be a massive mistake to me.
-
No chance unless they have some master plan agreed to for splashing on another player. I doubt that. Maxi could be a big part of the last part of the season.
-
I would agree although isn't that how football works sometimes? Club may have said "We'll let you go if they meet our valuation" then jacked up the price meaning he goes nowhere. All complete speculation of course.
-
It depends on what standard they are using to to review these. I thought it was a goal but didn't see proof on the replay. Seems like a bad call and I sure wish VAR was applied with a consistent standard as Isak and Liverpool would have stood.
-
Well?
-
Did you think it was a goal?
-
Yes. What did you think? Sorry for the edit, I mean I thought on first sight it was a goal. No meant not overturned which is what I edited.
-
I do not understand how VAR and the rules are applied. Like practically everyone here. I've been told unless it's clear and obvious it should not be overturned, under that standard it should have stood. Clear enough?

I think we all have the running joke there Rod. I would move on.
-
Too thick, I give up. Maybe someone could simply it for you. By the way, I know what trolling is.

Yes sir, can't wait to see it after the second leg though.
