  1. I wasn't calling you out, just find the entire premise in the article daft.
  2. Better than to be pissed on I guess.
  3. I didn't read the article as I canceled my subscription but why on earth would owners not be allowed to celebrate? Maybe that's somehow an English cultural thing looking down on that. If YOU owned the team would you just get up and leave after the cup was won? That's insane to me.
  4. And for that, they can go fuck themselves. Telling people who is and isn't allowed to celebrate? If you don't like the optics, close your fucking eyes.

    Dan Burn

Wish I could watch that game now.
  7. Obviously I am far far away but whomever came up with this idea should bound and placed in a rowboat and pushed off to sea.
  8. Seems very unlikely he'd want to leave, at least to me.
  9. Tbf, he'd be cut off for a month for the suggestion, although it seems fair.
  10. Funny thing for me is, when he was named captain I thought it was a terrible idea. The ONLY reason is he gets really hot headed and that's the last thing you want from your captain. That said, he's toned it down and done a great job since being named. You have to love Bruno, hope he stays for a long time.

    Joelinton

Absolutely, although the way the lads played I would have still liked their chances.
  12. I better hit the sack very soon, I've had enough beer to float the HMS Agincourt.

    Jacob Murphy

The many pints helped but Jesus did that make me laugh.
  14. Reply should be, "Must hurt less than the Champions League this week".
  15. BBC: "Howe's side were superior to Liverpool in all areas, with Joelinton giving a momentous performance in midfield - rallying supporters after winning tackles and never giving Arne Slot's team a moment's peace. This win marks a historic moment for Newcastle, ending the barren years and a run of nine successive Wembley defeats since they lifted the FA Cup seven decades ago. It started the party of all parties inside Wembley - and one that will carry on all the way back to Tyneside."
  16. "All the lads and lasses there, all with smiling faces"
  17. I said it was preordained in the pre-match thread. Freddie in Black and White.
  18. Damn, that was something else. I can only imagine the emotion for alot of you folks.
