Anyway, I am pretty sure everyone would be happy with a win tomorrow and if they can win it all, great! I was responding to a comment about winning the league cup but finishing 17th is what they'd prefer. I just don't agree and I know I am in the minority here and I think I know why. Most of you lads have been living and dying with the squad for many more years than me so I get it. You want to win something.

I did make note of that. Effectively to me is him saying after asked when he would contribute - "Not this year or next, we expect he'll develop over that time". So what did he say that implied he "effectively" will not contribute for years? edit: Not trying to call you out, I do not recall that message ever.
