Cliche, but the first goal really meant everything in this game. The way we've been attacking, and the way Arsenal have been wilting under pressure recently, meant had we converted one of our early chances I'm sure we'd have gone on to do what we did to them at the end of last season and then some. Them getting the first goal was the difference between Isak and Wilson tormenting a nervy Arsenal team on the back foot, to playing a confident Arsenal team who could frustrate us and attack on the break.

Goes against most on here, but I felt since the takeover he improved massively in fitness and defensive workrate. Started this season in decent shape, and wouldn't have been surprised if he was the next big turnaround under Howe, then a horribly timed injury.

Was sceptical when I first saw the teamsheet but he got it bang on. As well as back to back wins he's keeping a steady ship. Would have been easy to just turf out a load of players with all the new signings we've made, but as Howe said himself early on if we're to stay up it's going to be about the players already here, and he's got them believing again. Integrate the new signings around that and it'll be massive! Love the guy too... Until we see the teamsheet on Sunday then we'll go through the same thing again...

Haven't posted here before but am completely made up with Howe's appointment and thinking he needs a song. A version of Queen's 'Don't stop me now' could work, basically just replacing the lyrics 'dont stop me know' with 'Oh Eddie Howe' from 2:43 in the video, ending with the 'la da da da da' singalong.
