    Jacob Murphy

Very talented technique, the explanation is that he heeled it downwards (and backwards) into the ground, so it bounced up off the ground and got the lift.

He's also a Newcastle fan which is ace.

    James Trafford

Pope when he was in form and fit was incredible in my opinon.

I agree with all your points except the implication he isnt the best English keeper, he's superior to Pickford in my opinon. Gareth Southgate is in charge so it's hard to trust anything. But Pope might be a crock now so yeah maybe you're correct.

    England

I agree. I see England as rolling hills and lush meadows, intellectual greats like Isaac Newton, Michel Faraday, Tim Berners-Lee, George Stevenson (North East genius). The thick types have always been part of our history but I don't associate them with this great nation.
  6. Thanks mate. I wish it was that simple in competitive games, would have loved that, my school team was crap so actually had to make runs and score headers and make movement in the box to give the space to be a moocher, I'll proudly be called that though. Groovy days.

The neck wouldn't be my first port of call if I had his money.
  8. No idea what that means but all the best.
  9. Played striker for my school. Zero pace and horrendous engine. The ball always fell to me in the box though.

    Next season

Really good post and very insightful. I think what happened today could be a blessing in disguise for the project we are all taking part in. So I'm very positive going forward and can't wait for this Summer's transfer business, seems like our higher ups are aggressivley ON IT, which is amazing. Gonna be a fun few months.
  11. A blessing in my humble opinion.
