The Acedemy is a massive part of the long term fix for me - create a new revenue stream at the very least and hopefully get new players come through.

Howe has always said two for every position and Barnes fits one of those two, add on to this the amount of games he’s put to bed by scoring when coming off the bench I feel Howe will want to keep him, especially if true he asked Allison to stay then he’s surely defiantly going to want to keep Barnes.

Agreed / just depends what he wants, none of really know that - we can just surmise and guesstimate. I hope he stays to be a legend, one thing we can agree on is at some point this will be tested.

We could go round in circles on this now we’re into opinions but they bring more money in than us, have spend around £200m less then us since our take over and have more sellable assets. Fact is - take off the black and white tinted glasses then if you’re ambitious you’re going to want to go there.
