It’s safe to assume they will be wanting higher than 7th eventually and at least will be wanting constant improvement.

They’re third from bottom ffs, have one England international and have since been touting him as “world class”, meanwhile we have Brazilian, Swedish and Italian internationals yet we’re all meant to be happy with a “decent” point. Look, I’m a big fan of what Howe has achieved but I believe when the dust seemed settled and he leaves then his league position will average around 8th. Question is will the owners be happy with that and think it’s “decent”.

Waiting that long might want some of our better players to move on by then - of course they might want to move on if we get rid of him. Tough choices to be made.

In all fairness Howe has ignored Osolu all season and ran isak into the ground, could have been managed better.

I have a theory that most strikers don’t make good managers as the game comes to them. CM’s CB’s on the other hand learn the game a lot more.
