I'm perfectly fine with it short term. Need another striker ofcourse, but it doesn't have to be the long term Isak replacement, we can find him later.

How people can even think about forgiving him is beyond me. He has put us in a fucking awful position in what was supposed to be the season we pushed even further forward, and he doesn't seem to care one bit. All about himself. I can see players "accepting" him back if he is stuck here, but there will always be that elephant in the room affecting the team morale imo.

I want to root for an actual team, and thats what we had going. Not just professionals who can easily forgive people pissing on the club.

I can't believe so many people want his toxic presence back with the squad and playing for us again. There are no good outcomes for us here. But selling to Liverpool for a fair price is the lesser of two evils imo.

Not sure what to make of this response. What would the club gain by not giving him a shirt number at this moment? Would just make it clear that he is not going to stay with us and make Liverpool's position stronger.

Doubt that we will give him £125k. Somewhere around £100k would be my guess.

Wouldn't start, but would be really nice to have coming on from the bench. Joelinton, Barnes and Gordon are all probably starting aren't they? And Willock out injured? No backups for those position if thats the case.

Thiaw mentioned that he had known about our interest for a little while, so it seems not all our focus has been on getting a striker. We have just not made the decision to go for it until now for some reason.
