Bad defending for sure, but lets not forget that he got all the time in the world to make that pass aswell. -

Deliberate is misleading. Its not like if he meant to clear the ball then its allright, the wording of the offside rule is more complex than that. -

Thought Hall looked promising last game. Not like anywhere near Livramento though, so this doesnt piss me off like when he held Tino on the bench -
Forgot about this enigma. Those 5 months with him and Ben Arfa were something truly special. I will never forgive Mike Ashley for only signing Vurnon fucking Anita as a follow up to that season.

Not sure why Botmans opinion gets so much focus, it shouldnt have influenced the decision at all(not claiming it did). Ofcourse he would want to help his mates.
-
Most of our opinions here is based on absolutely nothing tbf.

Its a discussion forum where discussions around if our injury record is just unlucky or if there is something else going on is perfectly natural.
-
Im not going to blame anyone in particular, but it is completely foolish to think we are just unlucky with all these injuries. The chances of it all just being a coincident dropped below believable quite a while ago.
-
Dont think that adds up. He started two games in a row against Dortmund and Bournemouth and got subbed off at half time in both games, after that Howe forgot about him(even though we were desperate for fresh legs). Hardly a soft and confidence building introduction.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

This season will be forgotten fast if we start out the next with some good performances. Especially if we get a couple of good signings. -

Were this did come from? -
He isnt going to leave this summer, dont see anyone paying what we would demand.

Everyone except Krafth(always injured), Richie and Dummett are perfectly fine as squad players. Replace those and one of Almiron/Murphy with a purple RW, purple CB and a young striker then we got ourselves a really good squad on paper imo. Botman Tino Hall(??) Willock Bruno Joelinton Tonali Gordon Barnes Isak Thats a bunch of quality players who all have a few of their best years ahead of them.

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season

Not a single person have said that they expected 6-7 as a bare minimum. No one is ignoring the circumstances, we are replying to what we would have taken before the season started. A few posts are negative about a player or tactics after a loss, not a big deal. Nearly everyone here is willing to be patient and let him stay over the summer. -

You guys seriously dont understand the difference between "Would you have taken x at the start of the season?" and "Has Howe done an ok job considering the circumstances?" -
Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Displayname replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
I mean you are asking if we would have taken that at the start of the season. Thats a whole different question then whether it is a good achievement or not. We came last in our CL group. Not something i would bitten your hands off for exactly. QF in the cups doesnt mean anything to me. Only thing i would have taken in regards to the domestic cups is a trophy(Fa cup final maybe). In regards to the PL i wouldnt have taken anything other than top 4(not that i expected it). -

Ofcourse i wouldnt have taken that. Thats doesnt necessarily mean Howe has done a bad job this season considering the circumstances(if we are looking strictly at the results). -
What do you expect? Humans being shortsighted isnt exactly unheard of. Rather impressed that only a little minority here wants Eddie gone after the run we have had lately.

As he should, even though I think he hasnt done a good job lately. Its 3 bad months compared to 2 excellent years. If the performances doesnt improve substantially from now to the first 5-7 games next season then i think its time to say goodbye. -
It was bad, but it was 45min away against a top european team.
