  1. We are a more fluid, better side in possession with ASM off the pitch. Simply put we control games better without him. Sad but true.
  2. That’s one second in a 90 minute match? A single data point. I don’t think there is any excuse or rationale for signing a bottom 10 premier league left back when ambitions surely have to be top 8.
  3. I understand the sentiment but even worse than ASM today was Almiron. He didn’t even look like producing an assist or anything remotely useful whereas ASM at least came close when he fed Wood. Regards that Wood chance (which wouldn’t have counted anyway of course), I’m not sure I’ve seen a less natural, less convincing and more pitiful effort than that from a striker since Riviere.
  4. That was against the side 20th in the table and basically already relegated… but I don’t disagree with you
  5. This sums it up perfectly. Messy, wild and untidy. Aka shite.
  6. I can see why Howe isn’t rushing to sign him. Despite a couple of good blocks and clearances he was exposed today for a lack of pace. Salah burned him despite a 10 yard head start, and Keita just waltzed past the poor bloke with an easy 1-2. Hapless at times and sadly not at the level we need next year. Good serviceman but we already have a few too many of those.
  7. Needs to play in a central 2 or midfield 3. Nullified out wide.
