The problem with this team and well any team that’s playing badly (imo) is the midfield. I just don’t think ours works at all. It’s very cliche but win the midfield battle win the game, is true I think. We seem to get countered so easily it’s frightening. Just so much space in our midfield. I don’t think the tonali signing was a good one. He may be a good player which I think he has only shown in patches here, but we needed an actual 6. We could go 4-2-3-1 but I’m not sure Eddie will.

Yeah I get you, it’s just he clearly does not want to give him meaningful minutes and his development will stall imo if he’s not getting a chunk of playing time

Send the lad on loan if you don’t fancy him. This is doing him no good whatsoever

It’s really an impossible metric to judge. Unless you have “possible penalty incidents”. So if say Man United have 10 possible appeals, and win all 10. Total number doesn’t work. Also you’d have to look at whether you’d consider the penalties they got as actually fouls. Compare them with similar incidents for other teams. How many entries into the penalty area etc etc. You can’t use total as a way to prove anything imo. I don’t think there is any grand conspiracy but equally I don’t think total is the way to prove anything.

I would really like to see a player signed who can see a difficult pass. And when it’s hectic get on the ball slow it down, and regain composure.

It’s just crazy to me. He’s 4 in 10 this season and that with him clearly being not fit for a couple of games. Hes quality

I’d have him over Raya and Sanchez and Onana 100 percent. He’s also 26 so he’s not close to peaking
