The clear thing is that Bruno basically combines all midfielder roles into one smiley little Brazilian package. Great at winning the ball back, can beat players 1v1, doesn’t panic on the ball, can assist, score. Joelinton is really good at the physical stuff, excellent athlete, but lacks the vision and composure of Bruno

Haven’t checked his recovery stats I’d imagine they were good but I did feel he lost the ball a fair bit.

The whole midfield was gross imo.

He was constantly doubled up and burn offers nothing attacking wise. He wasn’t great but it was a tough game for him

I don’t think ASM was great or anything, he’s playing within himself whether that’s instructions or just his form im not sure. Compare to when he came on against Southampton and looked electric against a tired team.

Antonio gave him a tough test and he played well. Particularly when he caught up to him and muscled him off the ball
