  1. I think Merino has the perfect profile for us atm. How much would be realistic for Arsenal to let him go? Any cheaper player of similar profile?
  2. And even better is that if that happens again then we'll have the right to buy-back at low cost
  3. A player similar to Arsenal's Merino, even a downgraded version would be perfect for us now. Primarily a CM, could play in almost every position, even as a false 9. Hard to find such kind of player tho.
  4. If we could really get 30m from Osula I think we should bring in one more midfielder. Either one more CM or an AM who could play as a false 9 would be good.
  5. If we combine the 2024+2025 transfer windows things would look a bit more complicated Dubravka to Ramsdale = upgrade none to Thiaw = upgrade Anderson+Longstaff to Ramsey = ? Minteh+Almiron to Elanga = ? Wilson to Wissa+Osula = upgrade Isak to Woltemade = downgrade but who knows how good he could become. I didn't include Hall in the list because he was technically signed in 2023, we just paid the money in 2024.
  6. Agree, should only consider this in January, after afcon is over, if most of our squad stays healthy by that time.

    Yoane Wissa

Mostly agree but I don't think we will get anything significant when we sell him. If he plays well I could imagine he stays until 33-34 or 35 and then move on a free transfer like Wilson.
  8. I would also like one more player, but I would prefer a more defensive minded CM. I would welcome any good AM tho.
  9. Tbh I think we are not deep at all in midfield, I would like us to sign one more CM, but I think that is highly unlikely to happen
  10. They almost loaned him to Bayern for €15m plus €80m option to buy and sell-on clause a few days ago. Why would they offer a more favorable term to a direct competitor when they are short of strikers now?
  11. We won't get Jackson for 60m. Unless Chelsea sign another striker they won't let Jackson go for cheap. Would probably need 80m+ to get Jackson.
  12. £15m is not that much in today's transfer market. I think his transfer fee was £10m+5m add-ons btw? Given the amount of games he played I would imagine only a small portion of the add-ons would be activated. Not too hard to recoup the money imo, a decent side in the Championship could pay that kind of money for a striker nowadays.
  13. €30m loan fee plus €150m option to buy, similar to the Jackson deal, just a bit more expensive, long term replacement for Kane, Bayern should get it done
  14. Apparently he is behind Zirkzee in the pecking order now

A sample of 24 shots is a bit small, but his shooting seems fine for a 23yo, much more convincing than Sesko. Still have room for improvement.

Interestingly, I found a Liverpool fan who made this video in June.

Bayern is going to hijack this
  18. 'Won't leave with his head'......Does it mean the Saudis are opening a consulate here?
  19. What do you think about offering Osula on loan as part of our deal with Wolves/Brentford/etc? Do you think it would have realistically increased our chance of getting a deal done? Do you think we should send Osula on loan in the first place though?
  20. Yes, I think Ekitike does worth 85m+ based on his early performance
  21. That would likely mean a backup striker at a big club, examples would be like Goncalo Ramos (I think this is a good option) Jackson (loan without obligation to buy would be okay...) Hojlund (hell no) Endrick (don't think Real Madrid has any chance to sell, loan maybe, but may still be too raw to have any immediate impact)
  22. Top scorers in Ligue 1 beside PSG last season: Mason Greenwood - stats is quite good, attitude is an issue, likely to be expensive because Man Utd inserted a sell-on clause of 40-50% Kalimuendo - transferred to Nottingham Jonathan David - transferred to Juventus Lacazette - transferred to Saudi league Emegha - this one seems decent, young, quick, powerful with decent finishing, Chelsea rumoured to be interested earlier this summer, worth a try Ajorque - a bit old and rather slow, but he seems hardworking and his link up play seems good, may worth a try at very low transfer fee Biereth - product from Arsenal academy, young, shooting seems very good, scored a lot of goals in every team he played, stats in passing/defence are decent, again worth a try Gouiri - a rather complete forward who can also play on LW, aged 25, however not sure if he got any issue with his attitude, scored a lot of goals for Nice/Rennes/Marseille immediately after joining each team, but stats tend to decline overtime at Nice/Rennes, which could be a red flag Based on the list I would say we should have some serious bid on Emegha and Biereth
  23. And ideally I would dream of a deal involving that Swedish cunt being sent to PSG
