He needs to be played as a 6 or an 8 for a continuous run of games. This interchanging just isnt working. We look lost in midfield. Trippiers deliveries into the box have dropped off massively due to the disconnect.

We didnt create the goal tho, it was a liverpool fuck up that led to it. Didnt create much up until the sending off. As i said in previous post we just arent clicking offensively since the Villa game. Not sure what it is, really annoying but im sure we will figure it out. It was a shite performance but an unbelievable point when you factor in our first european game in 2 decades, away game etc etc. However people need to stop with 'remember where were 2 years ago' stuff ffs. Thats in the past, team should be judged, criticised or praised on performances now. Weve created this high standard so we should be held to it. Tonali looks a little lost atm. No doubting his potential but just not seeing it myself. Weve lacked any sort of creativity since the Villa game. I know weve played some top teams but it is not existent.

Hopefully Tonali in for Anderson on Tues. Id start Wilson again and play Isak wide. Hard to drop either Barnes or Gordon tho.

You put an elite DMC in with a two of Bruno, Tonali or Joelinton and we will thrive. One of those has to be dropped though. The current 3 together doesnt work IMO, against lesser opposition maybe. Longstaff played the DMC role really well last season and he isnt even a natural DMC. He is industrious and covers the forward runs of the other two.

Some serious whining in here about criticising Eddie. Hes a fantastic manager and we are lucky to have him but he fucked up a few decisions on Sun, hopefully he learns from it. Brighton getting spanked last weekend should put a few nerves at ease, we can put things right.

I've never said ONCE he hasnt been fantastic. Hes done an unbelievable job. Still doesnt change the fact that both Pep and Klopp out game plan him. Im not blinkered. We need an out and out DMC in the squad somewhere. I understand the whole comcept of sharing the load with inter changing between Tonali, Bruno and Joe however in circumstances like yesterday were you can bring on a fresh DMC to protect a lead is vital. Hes also vital in starting certain games like against City last week due to them playing between the lines in the final third. The DMC doesnt have to be elite as none would sign for limited game time but someone good enough to fill a hole when needed.

Both Pep and Klopp out game-planned him. One done it how he set his team up before the match and the other during the match. Howe had no answer for both. Those subs today were brainless and anyone who doesnt agree needs their head checked.
