  1. Sorry for the OT, but I'd like your opinion/poll about two songs to be included in two scenes of an Italian TV series that will air next winter (in Italy and abroad, on Amazon). They're songs in Italian and it's important to know how they sound to a foreign audience. Please don't judge them based on the official video, but only on their "musicality" and flow. First scene: Two young lovers arguing in a car, stuck in Roma traffic. She gets out of the car and continues on foot, crying... he hesitates then abandons the car and tries to catch up with her but loses her in the traffic and crowd. These are the two songs to choose from. Choose one or, if u want, rate both with a score from 1 to 10:
  2. Yep,your distribution is certainly fairer. I was referring to the huge gap between the various leagues.... it's normal and right that the PL has higher TV rights but seeing teams like Southampton earn much more than us is shocking (based on the fact that I imagine there are very few fans outside the city of Southampton, while AC Milan has millions of fans all over the world).
  3. Last year AC Milan earned €70m (€87m two years ago) from TV rights... I don't know the situation in the PL but I think each of your teams earns more, much more.
  4. Just to give a rough idea; Pio Esposito and Vergara are young and talented and there's a lot of talk about them (more than Palestra) but I'm not sure they'll become top players... they have the potential but something doesn't convince me. Instead, I have no doubts about Leoni and Palestra that they can become great in any club.
  5. Here in Italy insiders are talking about Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Inter being very interested in him, starting at €45 million (Inter have already made an offer of €35 million which they have rejected). The boy is exceptional... running, stamina, technique, dribbling (he's second in Serie A for successful dribbles after Yildiz, despite playing as RB), strong with both feet and can play on the right or left flank in all positions. He and Leoni are the only two young Italian talents, but unlike Leoni who can only play CB, Palestra is a unicorn who can play in three different positions on each flank. I hope you take him, if he goes to Inter I'll kill myself...
  6. They did it with Wolte... Howe's only real problem is that he's too much of a nice guy ...You need someone who can turn the tables when he gets pissed off.
  7. I mean... if your owners' statements are truthful and sincere, then Howe isn't the right coach for you... if, on the other hand, you want to be the team that occasionally has a great season and gets into the Champions League and then the following year has a disappointing season, then you can stick with Eddie. However the greatness of a club, and unfortunately we AC Milan fans know this well, is built by the management not by owners...especially if they're Americans or Arabs.
  8. He's been OK since December but he's still played very little and I agree with that because he's not the striker I'd want at my club, but the question is: did Howe want him? I don't think so, unless Howe is a masochist in choosing a player and not using him. I don't know, the only thing I agree with you on is that Wolte was the club's choice.
  9. Okay, the only one of the four who's played often/always is Thiaw. The others, especially Wissa and Ramsey, have been used very little especially considering you've had a very busy season. Do you think that if I sign a player of my own choosing I'll use him sparingly or not at all like with Wissa ?
  10. But you have the financial power to be part of that cartel and what your owners say points in that direction. What's the difference between City and United? One has a management team that has made very few missteps over the years (including the crucial choice of coaches), while the other has made one mistake after another throwing away millions of pounds.
  11. I ask you sincerely and without malice...which of last summer's purchases were expressly chosen by Howe ? (in your opinion, obviously we will never know the truth).
  12. Before January or am I wrong? I hope they do better than last summer. I see many similarities between our management in the 2010s and yours.
  13. I didn't necessarily mean those two, I meant that type of coach. Besides, they're both odious a mix of arrogance and victimhood....by far the most unpleasant coaches in Serie A, but they know how to manage the team..
  14. For Serie A yes, for the PL that money are crumbs.
  15. It might surprise you, but aside from Nico Paz, the others are all promising young players, far from being phenomenal (even potentially) and others who have failed or were underused in their previous teams. I always argue with my friends when they say that the football coach accounts for a maximum of 30% of the team's results... for me it's much more.
  16. Como spent €100 millions on 10 players, their most expensive purchase for a player was €22 millions and they have a real chance of playing in the Champions League next year. Not bad for a Club that played in the fourth division 8 years ago.
  17. In my opinion this is exactly what you need (Fabregas, Conte, a coach who decides everything... especially the transfer market) or alternatively you can stay with Howe but you have to change the club's management.
  18. I'm the exact opposite: France is the clear favorite ... And I wouldn't be surprised if one of the weakest German teams ever had a great World Cup. As usual, when Italy is out, I'll support England but I'm afraid I won't even see Hall play a single match and Gordon play them all.
  19. Anyway, I repeat, my transfer advice... Marco Palestra !!! He could cost you the same as Thiaw, or a little more, and he's worth three times Thiaw.
  20. I think I wrote this a few months ago... it all starts with the youth teams; Italian coaches of the past were incredible at developing young players' skills... now the typical profile of a coach in those teams is De Zerbi... these fucking idiots teach 10-year-olds tactics and game plans but they don't teach them how to develop skills. They know everything about football, from how Brazil played in the 1960s to the Netherlands in the 1970s, or Arrigo Sacchi's revolution in Italian football and they try to be revolutionary with teams of kids who not only don't have fun but also learn things that don't improve them...They're incapable of teaching anything else because they don't know how to do it... they only have a lot of tactical knowledge and nothing else.
  21. Surreal atmosphere this morning at the bar where I get coffee every day...from Monday to Saturday baristas and customers talk about football during those 10-minute coffee breaks (AC Milan fans making fun of Inter fans and vice versa). Today no one spoke !! No anger, no disappointment, just a desire to remain silent. This summer I'll rely on memories...
  22. Ok, basically: Liverpool fans = Napoli Fans Man Utd = Juve Arsenal = Roma
  23. They (Bosnia) are slow and predictable, they only have one kid (Alajbegović) who is very strong... if we lose it would be better if they didn't go back to Italy.
  24. I'm curious, why Arsenal ?
