  1. Tbh that team is even worse than the one that will play tonight... if we had swapped coaches you would win that game 100%.
  2. Yes, but here we enter the realm of personal and subjective preferences regarding the qualities of a good midfielder... an example: for age reasons (I'm 57 years old) I was fortunate enough to witness the best period of Italian football first and European football afterward; do you know who is absolutely the best midfielder I've ever seen and light years away from all the others? Lothar Matthäus... he didn't have the superfine technique of a Xavi or many others but he was simply an UNSTOPPABLE CM. Was he technically a beast? Not at all but if I had to clone someone between Iniesta, Xavi, Pirlo, or Zidane too, I have no doubts about choosing the German.
  3. Sorry, I'll try to answer you better... will an Italian in 2045 remember Tonali? No... we'll remember Totti, Maldini, Pirlo, etc..these are players who could play for any team and in any era. Tonali isn't and never will be part of this group, but in an era lacking in real talents and in which Haaland is considered a great striker, then Tonali could also be considered an important player for many teams.
  4. At Brescia, AC Milan and Italy he doesn't play as DM... that said, Tonali, Dimarco, and Donnarumma (and partly Calafiori) are the only talents we have. The rest of the team is horrible and is also led by a coach who isn't exactly the best. Barella was God two years ago, today he's a ghost... and even Bastoni is in decline. Yesterday I watched the game at home with three friends and at halftime, for fun, we looked at the Italian national team rosters from 1982 to today... it was disheartening to see what a team we had in 1982, 1990, 1994, 1998, and 2002. It's unreal that we won in 2006 with a team whose good players had already given their best years before. From 2010 to today ALL the Italian national teams have been awful.
  5. This is the horrible season he's had... I had to stop in mid-September because I can only quote 50 messages, but it's like this until the end of October. Then he had two or three bad months, and then since the end of January I think he's playing better. Trippier is having a horrible season, certainly not Sandro.
  6. Then he could be a gentleman.
  7. Bought in January, on loan in Serie B.
  8. In fact it won't happen...maybe Juventus could do it but only if they sell Yildiz. I think he'll stay in UK.
  9. This is what Roma (or Fiorentina) wanted. An Italian scout in South America compared him to the best version of Asprilla. The problem is that at 16yo everyone over there seems to be a phenomenon.
  10. You were clever in trying to buy Leoni...we're not in the '80s when you had to travel the world to scout talent; today you can watch all the foreign leagues from your home. I can't believe a club like yours doesn't have 4-5 people following the various leagues.
  11. For 30 you can get Palestra, who is the Italian Lewis Hall, and plays RB.
  12. What can I say? I hope so for you and I hope so for myself since I've become Magpie fan, but that price seems crazy to me.
  13. If Howe stays he would prefer to sell Tonali, Bruno and Hall together, rather than lose Gordon.
  14. Finally, someone who appreciates Sandro... The misunderstanding, for me, stems from the fact that some AC Milan fans, at the time of his acquisition, described him as a hybrid between Pirlo and Gattuso... and that's completely wrong.
  15. For 80 million I want someone who can control the ball when I pass it to him... let's not joke, guys. There are some qualities in Gordon that I appreciate, but some of his flaws are terrible... no one will ever spend that amount on him.
  16. Do you really think anyone would spend 80 on Gordon ???? Just because you scammed Liverpool with Isak doesn't mean miracles happen every year. If Gordon is worth 80 then Hall (who for me in two years, no more, will be the strongest English player) is worth 140 already now.
  17. Calafiori laughs when he has to evaluate City's support at the Etihad...
  18. It's not a suit but a friend of mine has this and it's very well made... he uses it with his Vespa when it's not too cold.
  19. Look at the Atalanta fans... they were "humiliated" by losing 1-6 at home in the first leg, and yesterday 4,000 of them went to Germany singing for 90 minutes. There's no humiliation if your team fights on the pitch.
  20. You should be proud of your Champions League... if someone hasn't seen both matches, they'll think you were humiliated but in reality you played on equal terms for 135 minutes (or better, in the first 90 minutes you were better than them). The result is heavy but misleading. Maybe you don't have the quality of a great team but you certainly have the character and personality of a great club.
  21. Unlike his compatriot Woltemade (who I still consider a good player, but out of position and not suited to Premiere League), Malick is better suited to playing in the PL than in Serie A...his performances have certainly been better with you than with us. As a good German , he struggles to understand that playing against Haaland or against a less physical and more technical player are two different things and require a different approach and a different distance. Yesterday's mistake against Yamal is identical to the one he made against Joao Pedro in the PL; the slip is a consequence of the mistake you made and not bad luck.
  22. Come on, Newcastle !!! Knock these Catalan cunts out of the Champions League, their defense is weak and u can do it !!!!
