Absolutely, was just putting that up as it looks like applying for 2 doesn't hinder your chances it literally is just luck of the draw. Still need to get rid though & bring back the stick man.
-
I've applied for the ballot 20 times (missed Luton ballot): Successful: 9 Times 4 x When applying for 2 5 x When applying single 45% Success rate which I thought was poor until I read some of the stats in here. Have attended 11 so far & have tickets for the next 3 through resale & transfers from ST holders.

It is but they only happen a few times a season, I purposely get in late when we don't have a display to avoid being smashed in the face by a chequered flag

If you all want concerts & NFL then I suggest fucking off to London. Lower the capacity at SJP, stick the Leazes roof back on and get it rocking again, that's all we need.
-
So you want to replace modern concrete walls with modern concrete walls? Sound.
-
Should've got off at St. James' metro station, its closer than central IMO.
-
Was probably the only viable option at the time of building. It may have hosted many events but I don't know anyone that thinks the arena as a venue or it's location is decent.

Where? It's an industrial estate.
-
Have they said what time this will start?

Burnley (a) 2018. Was belted out all second half and after the match, kicked on from there.
-
Soz, Just jump on two metros then. Mackem sympathiser.
-
To be honest, never really got this branch malarkey. Fair enough if it's a supporters club from outside the region but just jump on the metro and broaden your horizons. Plenty other bars than those on Victoria Road East marra hew.

Disgrace that the clock even has a bus running to the SOL.
-
Hopefully the latter

Now that they've opened up the Anfield Road end the noise just gets lost in that away end. Any time a chant was started it just fizzled out by the time it worked its way around.
-
A gig is usually a one off thing so cant really compare it to that. I think you're right on the £1K ST's though, if you're a member this season and have success in every ballot you probably hit the £1K mark.
-
But they don't have access to 100+ pubs & bars with pre-match entertainment right on the doorstep of their ground like we do. Build the massive standing end though.
-
Obviously due to the fact we were playing our first European Cup game since 2003. Hardly going to be the same against Bournemouth (h).
-
Agree with your first three points there but to say getting in earlier would improve atmosphere is wrong IMO. We'd all be standing there whinging about the selection & price of beer.

If we do have to build a new ground then it has to be on the Leazes, moving any further away from there wouldn't feel like home anymore for me. Not a fan of the old Telewest site. Though still pretty much city centre, it feels out the way.
