#NEWCHE – 55’ The referee’s call of no penalty to Newcastle was checked and confirmed by VAR – with the contact from Chalobah on Gordon deemed to be side-to-side in a shielding action and the ball within playing distance. -

thats very tight -
The risk is you can talk about transitional seasons, but will Tino, Sandro etc buy that No europe next season and both of them will be away Probably lucky that this season is a WC year and there's usually a fairly big turn over of managers post tournament so we may have options. FWIW i think he would take the England job if offered again, his stock can drop just as quick as it has risen (see Potter prior to Chelsea)

Best team won today tbf, they wanted it more from the first whistle

Fucking shambles Fuck off you spineless cunts

Thought this for few months but he has his his ceiling. We look poorly coached, poor tactically (wed to 4-3-3), subs are too reactive and predictable and we now seem to leak last minute goals which he doesn't seem able to fix, he looks out of ideas. Amazing what he has done for us, two champions league campaigns and a League Cup but think we should give him the season and look elsewhere.

He never suited our style of football before we signed him, so who thought it was a good idea? Either Eddie, Andy or Steve Nickson
