Yup, Burn was far too far forward for an immobile CB who runs like forest gump, left a huge gaping hole in CM that Tino had to try and fill If Burn was in position then he would of easily out muscled Welbeck

Was wearing led boots today, ran like he was in treacle, couldn't finish and looked like he hadn't kicked a ball for about 6 months

Was pretty much annonymous today, not really someone who should be anywhere near the matchday squad, would be a decent starter for a promoted team maybe but needs moving on asap

We dont look very well coached this season, no identity, no intensity we just likeba very uninspiring team and thats down to Eddie. Not sure why he persists with Murphy when he isnt good enough for a top 10 team never mind an aspiring top 6 team, he's too loyal to certain players he seems to lack a ruthlessness. Subs were ineffective and bringing on Longstaff when ypyr chasing the game and giving Osula 8 minutes is baffling tbh. I hate to say this but i think he may have peaked, he is a very good manager but wont be a top manager who will consistantly deliver CL.

Wonder if you can get odds on him resigning or being sacked after 1 game once he has the inevitable fall out with the FA suits

Said this in another thread but the top 4 will be Man City Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea Then think Spurs and Villa will get 5th and 6th and we need to be aiming for that 6th spot if someone slips up, we are a million miles away from getting CL again. The way he strikes the ball when taking shots and also at times passing is he seems to scoop the ball, if he had put his laces through that shot yesterday the defender wont have blocked it on the line Such a strange technique to strike a ball

I don't think we are great with the ball, yesterday we were quite sloppy at giving away possession, with Trippier and Tonali the main culprits.

We dont look like we know what we are meant to be doing. We dont appear to have an identity, a particular style of play like we did a few years ago. I wonder if we could benefit from a new coach joining Eddies staff, someone with fresh ideas, someone new to challenge things, we just feel a bit stale. It feels like we have fallen behind Villa in the pecking order and 7th might be our ceiling at the moment
