  1. The doubters were focusing on the fact it was big money for a striker from the Bundesliga, and not from a fashionable club at that. He's took to the Prem like a duck to water, really impressed today, he can't help where he's played in the past,he's only really just got rid of his L plates on the world stage. We need to see him sent through soon.
  2. We were well beaten over the stretch, even with Arsenal dominating the game, hitting the post and having a very debatable penalty ruled out we were still somehow winning the game until late on. And we still couldn't even hang on for a point. We're at home. We're winning .We played the last 25 minutes like we were petrified. 5 at the back just invites pressure, we're not good enough to survive wave after wave from a top drawer side. Elanga should have started, Eddie overthought it for me.
  3. Show them no respect, we need to scramble their brains and plans from the first touch with pressure and energy which our midfield are well capable of doing. Barca generally play a high line so we need to watch the offsides but we've got the pace to hit them and cause panic. As long as we don't freeze and give it our best shot it's all we can ask for. It'll be close. Most bookies have us slight favourites. Beer helping calm the nervous tension ,it's Barca ffs!!!
  4. Why can't Pope pick up the ball in the box? 2 minutes to go a ball gets played by Liverpool into our area, Pope decides to kick it instead of just picking it up and taking 10 seconds for the players to get back into position. He kicks it to the halfway line straight to Liverpool who tear our still out of position defence to shreds and 30 seconds after kicking it we've conceded the winner. Has nobody else picked this up? He always does it and this time it cost us the match. Don't rate him at all. Shocking. Pope picks it up,we don't lose,it's that simple.
