Osula was a gamble. He’s never really scored anywhere and none of us would have picked him out of Sheffield United. He’s got some good attributes but he isn’t even that young. He seems really immature as a person and I have a hard time imagining him as a deep student of the game or someone Eddie can trust to carry out a tactical plan. Now maybe he can get a few sub appearances between now and the end of the season and demonstrate his growth but Wilson will remain second choice till the summer. I’m in the camp where Wilson has been improving somewhat with each sub appearance, he put in one delightful ball last night that someone should have gambled on. He’s not the Wilson of 2 years ago but he’s an infinitely better finisher than Will Osula and he may still pop up with a crucial goal before seasons end.
