James
Nobby, as someone who has actually been, I can tell you that there is a series of ramps joining Wembley Way to the stadium, and if you get caught in the wrong parts of the stadium, it will take over half an hour to get through the crowds to the station. I've been to the new one twice mate, and there is one main ramp, that splits into 2, same as always http://www.blackpool.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=405 http://www.blahblog.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/wembley1.JPG http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/images/2007/03/26/wembley_way_320x240.jpg

abertoon
True it does take ages to get from the stadium, most people head to Wembley Park, Wembley Centrals the best bet if you know how to get there. Then again it depends which side of the stadium you are on, takes ages to walk round it
James
Fair enough about the tube station distance Nobby, but thats not the only story with those ramps. If your turnstile is at the front of the stadium, you have to go right or left towards where the foot of the arch is, and just before you get there, there is a junction to go back on yourself, and this gets very congested on the way home. Incognito
The stadium is magnificent but why build it in such a shit hole locality?
Guest prestonj1989
i have been to Wembley twice (Germany and israel matches). I left the germany match in about the 87th minute and got to the tube station (Wembley park) in about 20 mins. I stayed until the end for the israel match and got back to the tube station in about 30 mins. From my own experience i dont think you can get back to Wembley park tube station in less than 15 minutes unless you leave before the 80th minute and if you are going to do that there is no point in going the match (especially at the prices of the tickets)

Wallace
I haven't been to Wembley for a few years but I always preferred the train - 9 mins back to Marylebone and the queues were never as bad.
