The funeral party passed my Primary school as it came down Benton Road and turned onto the Coast Road at the roundabout by Chilly Road. The school field backed on to the Coast Road and Roundabout and at the dinnertime, loads of us were down in the long grass, climbing on the railings to get a good view. We weren't usually allowed to go in the long grass, but that day the teachers and dinnerladies seemed to turn a blind eye. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
