Anyhoo,

Our problem seems to be playing a DM next to an AM who doesn't keep giving the ball away or trying outrageous balls which he can't even dream about playing without wetting the bed.  Butt has been abysmal of late and Cacapa likewise.  It's a relegation battle - we need Geremi in the middle instead of Butt and Faye at the back instead of Cacapa.

We need to go forward more but part of the reason we can't is because when we win the ball in the middle, there's noone near the guy with the ball - at least Geremi can carry it forward a bit before he gives it away. No one seems to want it though. Sometimes I think it would be better to play primary school playground football tactics where all 10 outfield players migrate en-masse to wherever the play is before the ball is kicked into a woman with blue hair's back garden when somehow we are 1-0 up after 4 minutes and she puts a knife in it, thus abandoning the game and we get 3 points by default?

Seal-tastic defender and signing from Bolton, Abdoullaye Faye, is well and truly back in the fold at SJP after being given a ringing endorsement by King Kev. Having been absent at the Cup on Nations for the best part of the month, the big fella has been a massive miss as Cacapa has failed to deal with the sorts of physical presence thrown up by Adebayor, Harewood and co. Faye is of course "Stronger" than the Brazilian, something noted by KK:

"I am delighted to have Abdoulaye back. I have been very impressed with both him and Habib Beye. They both played a part in Senegal`s tournament and now have a role to play here. As far as Abdoulaye is concerned, he is a very good professional and he`s done a very good job here. He`s a big lad and we certainly need some height in the team at the moment. But it`s not only his height, he has great experience as well."

Hmm....he hasn't seen any football for 3 years, but he can identify someone who's done a very good job (in only 9 games). Goodness, he really is Messianic!

Or, of course, this could be the same kind of shite that stupid fans always believe.........
