Guest johnson293
Smoggie Jeremie Aliadiere has lost his appeal against his red card at Liverpool, and had the ban extended to 4 matches! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3199760,00.html I know the sending off was a bit of a joke, but it seems that he/boro also treated the appeal the same way - the FA felt the appeal was 'Frivolous'!! Keefaz
It was really. He slapped the fella in the face. Red card. Done and dusted.
Guest alex
Well, although the contact was minimal it's a definite red under the rules.
Guest Sniffer
Mascherano should've been sent off as well. He did the same thing with a hand to the face. Again, one law for the rich. Even if the ref. did not see it, there is TV footage.

Guest Sniffer
Fucking typical of the little twat that he looked agrieved after the merest of touches from aliadiere after he'd initiated the incident.
Wullie
Shows up a serious glitch in the rules that Aliadiere can end up being banned for four games for next to nowt while Martin Taylor will be playing again in three.
Guest Sniffer
Totally different situations. Violent conduct and a mistimed tackle.

1878
Well, although the contact was minimal it's a definite red under the rules. So is what Mascherano did to start the incident off in the first place Yet Mascherano will miss no games and Aliadiere will miss 4. It's ridiculous. No consistency at all. Colocho
The FA are a joke. Why does Mascherano face no punishment?
Guest Geordiesned
The FA are a joke. Why does Mascherano face no punishment? Your question is answered by your statement. Oh, and because Mascherano plays for one of the FA's beloved "big four" who play by different rules to the rest of us.

Hate to say it, but the FA do treat the top four different Gallas-Nani Mascherano-Aliadiere Terry-everyone
Dokko
Instead of appealing against the ban they should put in a complaint against Javier Mascherano, he did in fact go for his face/throat and should of walked as well.
Guest Spurs_from_Africa
I dont see why anyone bothers appealing decisions tbh. Even when the ref is wrong, the FA are too stubborn to change the decision. And like Ash and 1878 have said, mascherano's was equally as bad. Should have both been sent off tbh. Parky
The reason Liverpool players rarely get cautioned or sent off is that Gerrard normally officiates their matches.

Plus 'Carra' hands on fucking hips and diving with his arms out on block tackles if people are shooting on their goal. How many fucking saves has he made this year??!! Cunt. Gerrard has done fuk all for England and probably never will, waste of time protecting him, they should actually be clamping down on him.

Was it Liverpool vs Villa where Gerrard and an opposition player ran in to each other accidently, then Gerrard bitched like hell to the ref about losing the ball after running in to that player, won the free kick, then scored from it late on to snatch a win? Was harsh as hell and blatant cheating that won the game. Class free kick though!
