Ronaldo
what the hell was Taylor doing with that 'clearance' 5 minutes in? really should have led to a goal man how can anyone still see him as a figure in our starting 11, honestly. Useless, embarassing twat of a defender
midds
Had yet another poor game yesterday. Marking the penalty spot for their first goal. Diouf did well to draw Beye inside but Taylor had time to have a look around and spot Cisse. Just looks shaky but Bassong (the obvious choice to replace him in the middle) wasn't great either. Kev
Taylor - shit Bassong - did look good, now he looks shit Cacapa - old and average Coloccini - needs a defensive partner Enrique - looks good one game then shit the next Beye - been terrible anytime hes played this season imo, other defenders are to blame probably Edgar - so bad its unbelieveable Lets get the facts, we are shite and need at least 3 more defenders. Novocastrian
Why is it Taylor always playing last man defender anyway? Shouldn't he as the big strong stopper be dealing with the big guys and taking out the target man rather than sweeping up in front of the goalie? Why is he always in that position? He was playing Cisse onside, whilst not marking him, in fact, the only thing he could possibly have been doing in that position was blocking Given's view. It's not the first time he's done it either, it's a bad habit that he's got that he needs to get out of. It's like a game of footballing "pass the parcel" when the music stops everyone has to mark an attacker. Taylor is always the one left in the middle by himself looking around as the ball is in the net.
