Beating Chelsea and Man City's academies already is pretty good.

Why in particular?

Man City have always been regarded as one of the best academies and Chelsea are as well these days after pumping loads of pounds/roubles into their youth set-up.

They are definitely two of the better teams.

Chelsea have ploughed millions into their academy in recent seasons,  presumably Roman wants the club developing and bringing through its own players rather than him having to dip his hand in his pockets.  They've dominated the FA youth cup in the last few seasons, winning it and getting to the final and semis in other years.  They beat the Aston Villa side that beat us in the semi comfortably in the two legged final.

Tavernier 8 This guy is good.

O Halloran 6 Not convinced and shudda scored.

Lubo 7 Strong in defence.

Robson 6 Not a full back but ok attacking

Taiwo 6 Gregs sacrificial lamb.

Thirwell 5 Weak passing.

Noble 5 Shocking passing.

Zoko 6 Should of scored.

Loy 7 Scored and put himself about.

Miller 5 Thought he was too deep.

13mins - NEWCASTLE GOAL (2-0): Santon strides into the box with another surging run, steps over the ball to bamboozle Richard Brindley and cuts the ball back for Ryan Donaldson. The striker's backheel is pounced upon by Greg McDermott from close range for his first goal of the season, struck high into the roof of the net.

ME GUSTA.
