Guest MrSundlofer
Sorry. It's confirmed by player but not to the media or from the club.
Guest Heneage
Sorry. It's confirmed by player but not to the media or from the club. I knew the latter was off. I think a one year deal wouldn't kill the club tbh the lads scoring goals.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
oh bugger, just been doing some Toon research for FM11 and I've just spotted a name in the U15s that will no doubt spark a Nile Ranger-esque thread of embarrassment... Esteban Lopez - young Colombian Winger part of the U15's Nike Cup team!

Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Put his middle name as Julio. Too young for FM11 like - though I get a feeling it can't be good having all these names and dob of kids on my computer.

Esteban Lopez - young Colombian Winger part of the U15's Nike Cup team! i've seen him play a few times when he played against Cramlington juniors when he was a right winger for Wallsend boys club, used to always be up against my nephew as he was the left back. I always presumed he was Spanish, been overhere a long time though sure he was playing for Wallsend at under 9 or 10 level.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Cheers for the info Binnsy. Think I'm going to try and somehow sneak into the U16 games next season, pretty sure its family only though. If its anything like last season they seemed to play really early on the Saturday before the U18s played.

There's nothing from stopping you, as long you know the kick off time you can have a wander down and watch them, nobody would say owt. I've been to watch the 14's/15's occasionally when my cousin has been playing and there's normally quite a few folk watching.

Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Cheers Chris. No worries. For future reference, this is the entrance to the training ground where the youths play. It'd have been the path you went down as a kid to 'borrow' footballs from the Council Pitches before toon took over or to go to the dirt bike track. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=benton&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=12.896204,39.506836&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Benton,+Newcastle+Upon+Tyne,+Tyne+And+Wear,+United+Kingdom&t=h&layer=c&cbll=55.011359,-1.562455&panoid=hGKVCyFGfruJ1rgpo5tnnQ&cbp=12,217.94,,0,8.9&ll=55.011355,-1.562385&spn=0.000192,0.000603&z=
