Championship Manager

Look at the managers in the Championship

Simon Davey, Chris Coleman, Roy Keane, Gareth Southgate, Darren Ferguson, Jim Magilton, Brendan Rodgers, Roberto Di Matteo

All 40 and below, and backed by very decent track records (by Championship standard)

Brendan Rodgers, Paulo Sousa, Malky Mackay - relatively new and untried, all seem bright nonetheless

Is this Championship the youngest ever (managerial terms) ?

Who do you back to shine in the long run? Who would flatter to deceive ?

Will this championsihp be the most refreshing or would it be the weakest in recent years ?

My money is on Roy Keane, Ferguson and Southgate.

Brendan Rodgers deserves to get raped by an aids-ridden gorilla. Wanker.

Fine if you don't rate Southgate - who do you rate ?

To think that through no fault of his own, Nigel Pearson got a fair bit of stick off fans when he was here under Roeder & Allardyce. Don't think we'd have went down had he been interim manager rather than Hughton/Kinnear.

To be fair I think we were entitled to have a lot higher expectations back then. I don't think anyone could have known that we would end up where we are now.

Most of them above Southgate, all he's proven so far is he's not good enough for the Premier League. Johnson is definitely proven with three promotions and keeping Bristol City in the top half & Sturrock too, Magilton definitely isn't.

Adkins will be off to a bigger club in the next couple of years. 3 promotions in 5 years at Scunthorpe, finals at Wembley, players being brought through and sold on for massive profit.....the guy is a fantastic manager, and far too good for little Scunny.
