Big Geordie
At least we are at home, but lets face it - us beating them is extremely unlikely.
1878
Spurs and Charlton have had easy draws all the way. I can see Spurs getting to the final.
Guest Jai
so arsenal or liverpool will go out. I reckon we will beat chelski 1-0 with our strongest team out because they will be focused on Champs league..If we do that we'll have the confidence to go on and win it.. Guest Geordiesned
We can lull them into a false sense of security by letting them stick five past us at their place in the league the week before.

Guest
Bramble's two best performances in a Newcastle shirt imo came in those two home cup-ties with Chelsea. Play him again and hope for 3 times lucky.

Nobby
It's Chelsea (h) (again) The draw for the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup took place live on Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday programme and we were paired with Chelsea, the game being played at St. James' Park. Today's draw makes it eight meetings in the last fourteen years - four times in the last three seasons. We've only been successful once in those recent eight cup clashes - the FA Cup victory at St. James' when Patrick Kluivert scored the only goal in the fourth minute. However, at St. James' Park we've won four, drawn one and lost one of our last six games against Chelsea in all competitions. The tie will come a week after our visit to Stamford Bridge in the league, a rearranged fixture due to European commitments for both sides. www.nufc.com
