ElDiablo Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 Why Henderson seems to have been assigned the playmaker role I don't know, his range of passing is painfully average. Cleverly is wasted in this system too, doesn't get enough of the ball to do what he's good at. I just think 433 is shit and they don't seem to know how to play in it. It's just as if Pearce has thought 'all the best teams use it, therefore it must be amazing and we should too' without thinking about if we have the players to suit it or not. Got merked playing 4-4-2 in the first game though. They dominated possession but didn't really look like putting 2 or 3 past us, plus we looked even worse against Ukraine who are nowhere near as good as Spain.
