Guest andyburn Posted April 16, 2011 Share Posted April 16, 2011 It might just be me but why do our fans sing everything as fast as possible?, it makes half the songs unrecognisable and the rest of the stadium seemingly can't keep up with each other. Blaydon races sang slow and loud would be amazing Newcastle Falcons fans do it properly. It sounds great with 6000, so would sound fantastic with 50000. Thought I was the only one. It's just drony and dull. Not awe-inspiring at all. If it was their own anthem fair enough, but just changing "Saints" to "Spurs"....deary me. I don't think Nolan and co. care that much if the wrong lines are sung during the Blaydon Races or that others are sang too quickly, they just want to hear some support. Colo recognises his song, so does Jose, so do most players probably. I'm not saying L7 people are immune from criticism but some of the complaints are a bit silly IMO in the grand scheme of things.
