No room for the promoted?

Recommended Posts

It seems that nearly half the prem will be bought out or have been bought out by the extremely rich, kind of divides the table in two, top half being the clubs who can spend big and the bottom half being those who arnt so financially secure, but if your a club coming from the lower leagues and havent so much money then how the hell can you compete with these 7+ clubs owned by the mega rich, if money pays off like Chelsea then surely thats the top 7 (Euro places) or at least the top ten writen off like the top 4 are now?

Developing young talent and lesser known's to sell for astronomical prices to the aforementioned clubs.  Other than that, hope you get taken over during promotion year.  Good question, though.

How could they ever hope to compete?

There has always been an elite group of clubs at the top of the English game, who can pretty much dominate the rest, and there always will be. Occasionally the make-up of this group changes, but it's always there.
