I've not seen Liverpool that poor in years. Completely listless.

 

First clean sheet against them since the Cisse brace?

 

We somehow managed to beat them 2-0 under McClaren

Great result, decent performance with huge slices of luck. I'm okay playing like this against the likes of Liverpool and the like but this is where Bruce can get to fuck during his tenure: we play like today against everyone, even those who are shit and make them look like world beaters.

 

Haven't seen the game [only just seen the score] but this is the crux of it. If I suspected for one minute that this result came from the way Bruce deliberately set up the team for this particular match then he'd be worthy of credit. Every now and again he gets away against a bamboozled opposition who thought  they were playing a game of football.
